Just as expected

What can you say. It's an iconic landmark in Little Italy. Delicious doesn't do justice.Very friendly staff. If you can't find something here that you like, you probably don't eat food.

Stopped in Monday morning for some baked goods and stayed for breakfast. Will say by far one of the better meals I had in New York. The staff was excellent, food was delicious and the coffee amazing. Left with a box of baked goods and a promise to return.

Although now a too-popular tourist spot, FERRARA was a bakery of delights in my childhood days and still holds that title some sixty years later. Showcases filled with tempting, delicate and delicious treats that no one can resist. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is so evocative, classic little Italy, very classy. The cakes and coffee were great..Cheminee and chocolate truffle cake. The whole area is worth a visit

My wife and I took our granddaughter to Ferrara on a tip from a friend. We were visiting from California. What a great tip! This place is the real deal. I had a chocolate-covered cannoli - the best I've ever had - posted a photo of my plate after cannoli all gone. Highly recommended.

After a great dinner in Little Italy we decided to have desert. We stopped in at Ferrara Bakery. We had Gelato and Cannoli. I got the peanut butter cup gelato and thought it was the best I have ever had. So good and I can't wait to go back.

Stopped quickly in here as my husband is Italian. Didn't want to miss a part of little Italy! We both had 3 miniature dolci and they were super tasty. Authentic food and atmosphere/surroundings.

For cannoli and assorted Italian pastries, this landmark doesn't disappoint. Worth a stop for dessert.

The Little Italy is the best place to have deserts in Manhattan. This restaurant seems to have the best reputation and long history of success. The variety is great, making it not easy to choose. The waiter is charming but the waitress is the opposite.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
