Go for the cannolis!

I just came to this bakery for the cannolis. Being a fan of Italian bakery, i had tried a lot of different pastries in Italy already, but my girlfriend insisted that we had to go for the cannolis, so we did. It was amazing, and my girlfriend said that they are almost as good as the original ones... read more

If you are in the city, this is a must!!!! Everyone should visit Ferrara's at least once in their lifetime! The most amazing and beautiful desserts on the planet! I am there at least two times every time I visit NYC. Everything is delicious, have never had anything there that is bad! I can't even pick a favorite item there... More

i was with a group in Little Italy and one of the guys said he would take us to a great bakery. We had just had a wonderful dinner and I was not that hungry but I decided that I had to get something after we walked in the door. There was a line of people waiting to be seated... More

This café is so charming and has been around since 1892. I really love the interior, which has preserved some of the antiquity. I went around mid-week in the late afternoon and saw no crowds. The cannolis are a must, especially with a cappuccino. All the other baked good were delicious, but the spumoni was a little disappointing.

Very old establishment. You will like the atmosphere. Millions of deserts and you want to try all. Service is excellent. Always crowded you may have to wait to be seated but believe me it worthed.

We went late Sunday afternoon and there was a long line for gelato and the bakery. The pistachio gelato was divine as was the raspberry. We also got delicious cookies. This place is a famous Little Italy eatery and continues so for a reason. It's great!

Their food was not as fresh as Arthur Ave. 2nd time I've been disappointed. But it is iconic, so on that basis good for tourists.

Pricey bakery, but very, very very good pastries. Chocolate Hazelnut Martini was amazing. Steamed milk with amaretto amazing as well, not to mention their almond biscotti.

Stopped by for coffee and desserts. We had cappuccinos and the three dessert samplers. The cannoli are delish. Fun stop.

Staff were almost as good as the cannoli. Espresso was strong, but good. There was a line but it went quickly once the large group sat. A nice capper to a nice day.

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
