We went with a group and got several different flavors of gelatos and pastries. I loved the cannoli's (especially the chocolate dipped cannoli's) and the éclairs but you could tell by the taste that they were cooked in a gas oven - they had a faint gas taste to them. They were still fantastic! The gelato was to die for.... More

Loved going to Ferrara, one of the oldest and most traditional bakeries in Little Italy, New York. The Canolis are to die for, and the gelatto unbelievable. Service could be more friendly and faster. Wish we could eat every single item in their display. Sitting in the Cafe' is like taking a trip to an European grand cafe', loved it... More

We love going here for dessert. They have many cakes,, pastries, and gelato to choose from. We decided to share a slice of Italian cheesecake with strawberries and whip cream. We also shared a small gelato- chocolate/cappachino. I also had a latte and my husband had a hot chocolate. Everything was delicious. In addition we had very good service. In... More

Loved everything about this place! Had desert after dinner. I wanted to go back again the next night! So happy to find great Italian bakery goods! Even brought some home with me.

These cookies, Sfogliatella, and cookies were exceptional. I now live in Colorado and was bring some home for the family. Ordered a few boxes of tri-color and pignoli. Have them wrap the boxes in plastic wrap - kept them super fresh. The staff suggested the two pound box. I was a little nervous as they were already packed and in... More

We had to stop on our visit to NYC to Little Italy after walking thru Chinatown. My son and daughter got the chocolate covered cannoli and I got the tiramisu.....Yummy!

Ferrara has been around for years. It's synonymous with Little Italy. I used to go to Grotto Azura for dinner, then here for Gelato. Have your deserts here.

Visited 3 times with similar results. If you are eating in Little Italy, skip the dessert and have it here! We visited 3 times and the 3 of us had a good sampling of all the treats. Every single one fresh and delicious. The gelato is unrivaled in my opinion. Service was swift and attention to details was excellent. I... More

I walked by here and needed a break so sat down. I was looking forward to trying their canoli and lobster tail to compare with Carlos' bakery (Vegas outpost) but realized after sitting down that they charge a premium for these same pastries when sitting vs getting them from 4' away and taking them out. I decided on an lemonade... More

We went into the bakery wanting a taste of gelato but the waitress wanted a table to wait on, I guess, because we were asked to sit and served at a table costing us almost $30 for 4 dishes of ice cream and a cup of coffee. I guess it's partly our fault in that we should have put our... More
