We made our usual trip into NYC to see the tree. I thought if we parked far away we'd miss traffic. I was wrong. We came out of the garage and saw this place. We checked out the menu and saw a lot of things we like. We walked over to see the tree,do some shopping and went to Saint... More

Had a fabulous meal here. Good service, great food and good prices for NYC. Always busy and for good reason.

If you like restaurants with a wine theme, this is the place. There is an incredibly large selection of French wines by the glass, and the waiter who helped us was very knowledgeable. The food was classically French but not outrageously priced, and the atmosphere is warm and intimate without being over the top. I look forward to eating here... More

This is small neighborhood restaurant, with quality home cooked food. We shared a fois Gras that was flavorful, just melted in our mouths. Our friendly waiter offered us complimentary desert wine to go with it. The duck entree was delicious, cooked to perfection.the duck confit, sausage and bacon cassoulet was the evening's special. One of the best duck confit I've... More

I'd read in someone else's review of Pod 51 that the French restaurant next door was amazing. So after a cold wet day tromping around the city I was ready for a warming glass of red wine. I went down to Le Bateau Ivre before the others were back to check it out and have a drink...at 6:00...on a Saturday... More

I recently dined here on a lovely fall evening and with the restaurant's french doors open to the quiet midtown street it was just like a bistro in Europe. It is a perfect place for a delicious dinner or to enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese and charcuterie. The menu has many choices and each meal was really... More

OK - I'm traveling by myself - 50 year old, female (like to think I'm a foodie). This place makes you think you are for sure. I had the Foie gras - don't miss it. Really. Just be adventurous. It was absolutely buttery and delicious. Then top it off w/ the Duck Breast and Brussels sprouts - over the best... More

This is the cutest French bistro on a side street we've ever found. They had a fabulour Jazz triplet playing for brnch, which was so good, everyone in the little place clapped after each number. The brunch is real French and excellent, very reasonably priced. Nice wooden French doors open out onto the street. This is a definite repeat.

Because my work schedule causes me to be out during the wee hours. I am always on the lookout for a late night spot to satisfy our tummies. Voila!! I came across this quaint little secret. Not only is it low key but open til 4am!! I would arrive at 2:30am and sit down to a freshly made French meal.... More

Charming cafe featuring a jazz trio at weekend brunch. The most affordable & equally delicious meal we've had in the city. Ambiance was lovely with doors that open to the sidewalk & decorated to be a little slice of Paris right in NYC. Now, on to the important part... Eggs Benedict were some of the best I have ever had!... More
