Romantic, cozy restaurant

We had a wonderful meal, nice portions, not overly creative. The wait staff worked as a team and were very efficient. The Pork Osso Bocco was huge and delicious. The Lobster and Shrimp Fettuccine was also good. Not overly priced for NY.

The place was VERY DARK, you could hardly read the menu, we selected our food, after 4 waiters came and told us the specials, four times, once was enough, starters were ok, but my main meal of tuna was terrible, it was cold and tasteless, we asked for the bill, and they didn't charge me for my tuna, there are... Had to stay over in NY unexpectedly last week on a rainy winter night. Wanted something yummy and close to the hotel. Found this place on TripAdvisor and had a great meal. I arrived around 7:30 on a Tuesday night, so the place was empty - as the theater crowd had already left. Was greeted and served by very friendly... More

Before we dined here we had not heard of this restaurant. However, we were going to the theater with some other people and they strongly recommended it. There were six of us. I had wild mushroom soup first and my wife had the salad. For the main course we both had the fettucini with lobster tails and shrimp in a... More

Very small restaurant. Our specials were average but presented well. We had the Lobster Ravioli and the chicken breast with eggplant. The Ravioli had a bit of a kick to it and did not taste fresh and maybe overdone. The Chicken dish was a bit bland. The service was good at the beginning but slacked off towards the end. This... Being an Italian American who cooks "Italian style" I am always Leary when someone recommends a place. The owners here were welcoming, the place was very busy. We were a group of eight and we all felt our entrees were just average . One member of our party could not eat his pork dish, it was awful. Although he wasn't charged... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
