Started out wonderful with service and then went downhill after a very large party came in and we seemed to become ghosts. Food, Price and Decor were very good in this small restaurant and had the service been consistent or if they had planned more help that night, I would definitely rate it higher.

We headed to New York City for Thanksgiving week and needed a restaurant to spend the holiday. We didn't want the traditional thanksgiving dinner, so we decided to give an Italian restaurant a chance. We took a look at their thanksgiving offerings and noticed that aside from the traditional trimmings, they had other offerings. Nocello offered for the night a... More

I've enjoyed dining with Constantino and Marinella for many years and I just had another fabulous dinner there. It's a great place pre-show but it gets busy, after 7:30 it's a diners delight. Great fresh fish menu, wonderful daily specials, the lentil soup was a warm comfort on a chilly NYC evening. Highly recommended.

Elegant little place with gourmet Italian food that cannot be beat. A treasure in a city of treasures.

We were told since we didn't have a reservation that we got the option of sitting at the two worst tables in the restaurant. We ask if we can sit at the bar the bartender said "no not yet". We wanted to eat there and were prepared to spend some money on a nice dinner. Pathletic people and service standards.

I usually stay at the Residence Inn on 1717 Broadway at 53rd street and never saw this great little gem of an Italian Restaurant! I walked around the corner and straight in without a reservation. It probably helped that I speak italian but got a seat straight away. They took an existing dish and spiced it up for me. They... More

As anyone who travels to New York knows, the Italian restaurants are second to none in North America (maybe Montreal?) but this restaurant was by far the best so far on my trips to NYC. I love IL Mulino but who can afford that too often? If you have not been here, go, it is worth the trip and reasonable... More

We ate here on Friday 17th October, upon recommendation from our Hotel (The Moderne). Without doubt we experienced the most fresh and flavourful food we had, in NYC. The seafood (both Lobster and Calamari were flavourful and so succulent). The pasta was delicious and home made. Our server was a joy! A very professional guy, indeed. When we ordered a... More

Traditional Italian. Good portion sizes, several veal dishes, pasta with half plates and excellent service. Near 55th & 7th Ave/Wellington Hotel. We would return.
