Very Good

6 of us ate dinner here yesterday evening. We were seated promptly and the service was excellent. Water glasses were always filled and the waiter was very knowledgeable. The menu is a little limited but they had about six specials. Souls were very good but a little pricey. Entrees of pasta... read more

We went there without reservations and were lucky enough to have a place almost immediately. The service was excellent and the food was good. Expensive but worth it. The experience was memorable; definitely will be back.

My wife and I were fortunate to act on a recommendation from the head valet at our hotel to try Nocello and he even called to make our reservation with the owner. The atmosphere was welcoming, the decor "just right" , the service was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious! The whole experience was a real pleasure and we... More

Food was excellent... The pesto gnocchi was amazing. A quiet intimate restaurant (we went on a Tuesday night). We enjoyed it! Service was OK.

We visited NYC a few weeks ago with family from Europe. We were sightseeing all the usual spots and we were ready for a decent meal. The bell person at our hotel recommended Nocello. He told us it was a local restaurant and the food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. We were very happy that we took his... More

We went right at 5:00 because we had theater tickets. No reservations but no trouble given the early time. Looked at pricing on the menu before we went in and all looked reasonable. We had 4 drinks, 2 starters, and two entrees.Breaded sardines over salad was huge and tasty. Baratta Cheese over yellow tomato was also delicious. Dinner was 4-cheese... More

We have been going there for years. All I can say is unbelievable! It's a great restaurant with such creativity and flavor. Staff is great and very attentive as well. The night we were there Rod Stewart was having dinner there- if it is good enough for Rod, it must be good.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Meals were reasonably priced and all the dishes we tried were well prepared and enjoyable. Wine list was nice and the service was excellent.

We made a reservation at this restaurant per the recommendation of the NY Philharmonic website and I was so impressed. From the welcome we received upon stepping inside to the amazing meal we enjoyed - we loved everything about Nocello. The food was delicious - its worth it to save room for appetizer, entree and dessert. The price was very... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
