Nice enough pub

Popped in couple of times as it was just around the corner from our hotel and was pleasant enough for a drink or too, nothing special just average pub with live sport and lively atmosphere

I just want to say that we had the best hospitality here at this place. Alicia and Tommy were the best. Not only did they make us feel welcome we laughed for hours!! Food was awesome . We had crab cakes and spring rolls They were awesome. Mostly it felt like home Lots of smiles, flinging coasters, laughs. Come to... More

A warm welcome in a central location, enjoyed good food and nice cold beer in a friendly and very reasonably priced pub.

This may be a fun place for a beer, but we stopped in here for lunch and we were pretty disappointed. I had a corned beef on rye and the beef was so tough, I had to take it out of the sandwich and cut it up into pieces with my knife in order to eat it. My friend had... More

Visiting NYC in an usually warm October called for cold beers at lunchtime to go with our lunchtime meal. Burgers, salads and "Bangers and Mash" are always better with a cold beer and friends. Blaggard's Pub fits the bill for a fast and relaxing lunchtime fare. Highly recommended, and get there early before the lunch and dinner crowds!

This looks like a typical mid town, middle of the block mock Irish pub that serves the weekday lunch crowd. That's what it is. They have a generous Happy Hour policy which will netyou a pint of great beer at the perfect temperature for only five bucks. Pretty good deal, and the bathrooms both work. Highly recommended.

It was hot, humid and dirty in the city. All we wanted was a cold beer in air-conditioning. And we found it. And what made it even better was that it was during happy hour. An ice cold Bud Light, Sam Adams or one other beer for $4 - normal size - just what the doctor ordered! Best deal around.

Had a late lunch here. Good food, decent prices, varied menu. Service was a bit slow and the waitress seemed to have other things on her mind, but overall a good experience. Would recommend to anyone and will eat here again.

My (adult) son and I stopped here after an afternoon at museums. The wait service was fairly unattentive and it was hard to get an order in. The food was good enough but nothing to write home about. The beer selection is about what you would expect from a mid-town pub, no real surprises here either.

Restaurant was conviently located next to the hotel I was staying in but we were very disappointed eith the service , food and atmosphere. Wait staff was unpleasant. Menu featured items that sounded good but the salmon I ordered was unimpressive. Bland and under cooked. Side salad was way too cold and dressing too oily. Very long wait for food... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
