A really enjoyable place.

We stopped in for drinks after a memorable supper at Batard, which is close by. The food here looked great, and the warren of cosy spaces to eat it in inviting. The bar itself is super, with the feel of a really traditional 'local' that will instantly appeal to UK visitors. They'll know that one... read more

This was our last meal in New York and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the establishment is done out like an English "local" (pub). The food was excellent, especially my partner's chicken salad and my sirloin burger. The only disappointment was that we found it on our last day so we couldn't go back... More

My husband and I had dinner there last night. he had a burger and I had a portobello sandwich. Both were excellent. We have been here many times and it is consistently good.

Great no nonsense, no attitude , local Tribeca spot. This is the place that has been here before Tribeca became cool and it has not lost it sense of grounded , New York, Neighborhood eatery. The bar is an amazing historical piece unto itself - old wood and classic 1900's - maybe older. The menu is simple but delicious comfort... More

Best burger in the area - their burger features beer, cheese, and a small roll, with onion and tomato served on the side of the plate opposite the potatoes prepared 'french fry' style. This was a memorable occasion with my friends and me as we all had horifically low blood sugar before sitting down and slamming some radebergers and burgers.... More

Reasonably priced food that was quick, large portions, nice wait staff. Had a very nice brunch there.

Fun place i found in tribeca, feels like walking into a scene from an old american tv show. Sat at the bar and had a burger (amazing) and a white russian (that for some weird reason cost as much as the burger). The bartender was not the friendliest and he ignored me for a few minutes while chatting to another... More

Tucked away on a corner in Tribeca (can you actually be tucked away in a corner?), Walkers is a real neighborhood gem and worth the trip even if you're not in the neighborhood. It has a friendly pub-like vibe and the food is actually some of the better gastro-pub offerings around without breaking the bank and without trying to be... More

We were staying locally and visited this bar/restaurant several times during our trip. Very friendly and accommodating whether we visited with friends or family with a baby. Nice relaxed atmosphere and felt like a London pub. It's best to be seated in the front room by the bar as it got a bit hot and stuffy when we were a... More

I've been going to Walkers since 1994, when I was working a couple blocks away. Walkers is not a tourist place; it has character. This is a place that you should go to experience New York like a New Yorker. If you want to see where working New Yorkers go to have lunch, dinner or for a drink, this is... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
