A sweet Dosa India in NY

For a quick tasty and reasonably healthy snack on the run, this place is pretty hard to beat, especially if you are a fan of the South Indian Dosa, an outsized rice-flour pancake filled with various treats. Some of the fillings on offer are a little hybrid NY/Asia, but nothing wrong with that at... read more

Dosa cravings are real! Chutney cravings even more so. This hybrid dosa place with fantastic fillings is a must visit Soho eatery. I love the traditional masala dosa the best with potato filling, but the chicken curry dosa was outstanding too. Not for me the quasi-pizza dosa though. The chutneys dazzle, and I do day dream about my next visit... More

Yumm, easy to order and great for lunch, very filling (do not be fooled by the "lightness" of the dish) Would visit again anytime.

Good reliable food and friendly service. There are vegetarian options and wholesome ingredients are used. It's not a full service restaurant. You order, pick up then sit.

We went there without any expectations and it just surpassed every possible expectations from a little fast food joint in NYC. The dosas are amazing with ingredients like avocado/jack cheese/ spinach and beets. Their chutneys are too die for along with the masala chai .... Strongly strongly recommended if you are in or around Soho.....

I just happened to stumble on this place one Saturday afternoon, while walking around SoHo. I was intrigued by the name and the line up of people inside. I didn't realize it was a dosa place until I saw the chalkboard menu and was pleasantly surprised to see dosas with non-traditional ingredients. What also struck me was the fact that... More

Indian style, (can get a breakfast dosa that has cheese, eggs, tomatoes, and greens,) gluten free and tasty... and there are gluten options as well -- I go for the dosas. It's a sweet little spot that is crowded (although the lines moves quickly, and they are super efficient) with upbeat New Yorkers, non-New Yorkers, and the like, who want... More
