Amazing Dosas and unique twist to Indian Cuisine

We went there without any expectations and it just surpassed every possible expectations from a little fast food joint in NYC. Strongly strongly recommended if you are in or around Soho.....

I just happened to stumble on this place one Saturday afternoon, while walking around SoHo. I was intrigued by the name and the line up of people inside. I didn't realize it was a dosa place until I saw the chalkboard menu and was pleasantly surprised to see dosas with non-traditional ingredients. What also struck me was the fact that... More

Indian style, (can get a breakfast dosa that has cheese, eggs, tomatoes, and greens,) gluten free and tasty... and there are gluten options as well -- I go for the dosas. It's a sweet little spot that is crowded (although the lines moves quickly, and they are super efficient) with upbeat New Yorkers, non-New Yorkers, and the like, who want... More

Delicious dosa spot in a middle of Soho serving fresh, just made to order Indian dosa - a thin pancake filled with your choice of products, mainly chicken curry and vegetables. Great quick snack provided you find a table as not really easy to eat standing.

My son introduced me to this place and I loved it so much I brought the rest of the family back the next day. The dosas are made to order -- really fresh ingredients and wonderful chutneys. When I first saw the size of a dosa, I thought "No way am I eating all of that." Wrong. Ate the whole... More

Thee best hangover food in town (it's not just for hangovers!). Incredibly enjoyable, quick beautiful dosas made by people who know what they're doing. Incredibly fresh, light tasty food. Try their amazing salsas, I took some home with me. A special place with beautiful staff and customers! The best quick bite in lower Manhattan. A must try!!!!!

If you like masala dosa as much as I do, coupled with mango lassi and/or masala chai you can't go wrong with this little gem. Sandwiches are worth a try too - everything is fresh and tasty. Perfect spot for a break while shopping! Don't expect to get a seat during the lunchtime rush.

Hampton Chutney mainly serves dosas which are long sandwiches in a paper thin bread with indian inspired fillings. The classic masala dosa has potatoes in it and is tasty. The food is quite heavy though. Place is usually very busy during lunch as it is located in the heart of Soho
