Good sushi!

Quality of sushi at this place is quite good, and an inch above restaurants in the same price range. We had a very enjoyable meal.

Really great to find a teriffic Japanese restaurant near Broadway. Their menu is attractive and extensive and the restaurant itself is just lovely. Our server, Ivy, was warm, attentive, and added nicely to the overall dining experience. Everything we drank and ate from hot sake to hot green tea was excellent. Best Edamame I have eaten and the sauce that... More

I have a child who is a performer and we are in new York City every month. And at least once a week every time we are here, we eat at Fuji Sushi. We stumbled into this place after an audition across the street at Ripley Grier studios. My child was starving and I was impressed by the statement on... More

The service was very good, staff was friendly. The tempura was extremely well done and the sushi was amazingly fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was nice, not formal.

We went to Fuji sushi on a friday evening looking for a new good Japanese resturaunt. We went there and the wait staff sat us down right away. We proceeded to order the pork gyoza along with tempura, sushi, and chicken teriyaki. The food came quite fast and the gyoza was average. The rolls were horrible because the fish was... More

It's pleasant, but nothing is special here. The food is fine, but ordinary. The service is friendly. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. I think it's just okay in every way, but it's not great food at all. It's not expensive and it's quick, if you're looking for that. Everything about it is average.

It was near the hotel, which was the only good thing about it. It turned out to be a bog-standard Japanese restaurant that can be found all over the US. Should have checked TripAdvisor first. Sorry Fuji Sushi.

We were tired and jaded after flying in. We both ordered Chicken Katsu which was absolutely delicious. We saw other meals delivered and they all looked good.

Excellence in service and food quality. It is also very amazing that they have lasted from 1954 till now. Yellow tail and white tuna are my unsatiable urge! So fresh and well tendered!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
