Tap Room is a Great Spot

Unique and interesting menu items accompanied by a fine selection of beer. I had the stuffed squid with shelled beans and the snow peas, both appetizers and very tasty. It's near chelsea market and the sky line so be sure to build in time to enjoy those attractions as well. Enjoy!!

We hade the pre-designed four course menu with the wine selection and it was a great meal. Only downside in this place is the choice of music. Psychedelic Jazz is not a favorite... ever.

This was one of the best meals we have had. Being Thanksgiving, the selection was smaller, but the quality was spot on. The decor is upscale, yet inviting and comfortable. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. Each food course built on the previous and the dessert was the icing on the cake. If I ever get back to... More

but not getting any further than good. Had a 5:30 reservation on Sunday, early because we had 7PM theater tix a few blocks away. Got a nice table by the window, overlooking Chelsea Market. Shared the beet salad and Parker House rolls for apps, I had the burger, my wife had the basic pizza. Burger was ordered medium rare --... More

We have been to most of the most exclusive restaurants in NYC and this place is, by far, the best place in the city. The brunch is incredible and we always take friends from out of town for the brunch! They have the best pain perdu I've every had. Tonight, we went for dinner and decided to sit at the... More

Got a reservation at the top room but like a few other reviewers, I'm wishing that I had eaten in the main room. The service and wines in the tap room were great. Our waiter was actually really great, picking some great wines and giving some really excellent descriptions of the menu. The food on the other hand was good... More

Came here for brunch upon our holiday to New York and were blown away about the great service, vast range of beers and excellent food. It was the only place we visited twice because it was THAT good. The missus had the beef tartare and she still talks about it 2 months later - probably the favourite course she's had... More

First, he good and exiting: Great bar with interesting cocktails and good bartenders. Very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful sommelier. After that, everything else was not that exciting. There were a lot of wait staff running around, but it was difficult to get their attention when that was needed. The food itself was uninspired (the pizza not much different from a... More

Sat in tap room at front but wished I had booked main restaurant the service and waters were great but the food was very average! Had a pizza which was ok at best. Menu confusing as well no clear divide between appetisers and mains as it was one continuous list!
