We were invited here by two friends of my wife. It was our first visit. The experience from drinks at the bar to liqueurs at the end of the evening was top-class. Each of us chose different appetisers and different mains, and the approval was definitely 100%. My vegetarian choices were both very appealing, as were the steak and fish... More

Visited Bottino on a recent Saturday evening during a girlfriends weekend in NYC and was very pleased with our dining experience. The bar was hopping, grabbed a window seat for drinks waiting for our table. The reservation held true to it's time and we were seated in the enclosed patio area which turned out to be quieter than the main... More

Went here before with a group, but this time the experience was very disappointing. Not he service was friendly bit not expectional, had the fritto misto (excellent) and the kale salad...(strangely cafeteria like boring) then the swordfish ( great) and the shrimp and lentils ('weird...tasted like ez peel and frozen with earthy Italian lentils,). Desserts included chocolate pudding which was... More

Bottino is located on 10th Avenue near 24th St. Our service from Laura was excellent. The food just fantastic and cooked exactly as ordered. Fresh, flavorful and careful with the salt. I didn't want the dinner to end. The back room is really special. They also have outdoor dining, but it was raining so we couldn't eat outside. I can't... More

Nice decor, ambiance and just all around a place to go back too! Waiter was friendly and didn't rush us, we were long distance friends dining there who haven't seen each other in 10 months! I will say if you don't like al dente pasta, make sure you tell them. I liked it! Salad, main pasta dish to dessert! I... More

Pros: Very good Italian food in a hip section of town. Comfortable combination of indoor and outdoor seating. Cons: Service a little pushy. Had computer malfunction so getting bill was a hassle. Location a tradeoff-close to highline but far from the subway.

Ate here for a birthday party. The outside area and adjoining inside area are beautiful. The service was wonderful. The food was yummy and they did a good job getting all of us fed at the same time.
