Very good Italian food in a hip section of town. Nice outdoor seating

Pros: Very good Italian food in a hip section of town. Comfortable combination of indoor and outdoor seating. Cons: Service a little pushy. Had computer malfunction so getting bill was a hassle. Location a tradeoff-close to highline but far from the subway.

Ate here for a birthday party. The outside area and adjoining inside area are beautiful. The service was wonderful. The food was yummy and they did a good job getting all of us fed at the same time.

We had an excellent walking tour with City Rover and finished it off with an excellent meal at Bottino's. The service was great, the pricing very reasonable. There was indoor/patio seating. There was choices of steak, seafood, and pasta. It was a little bit crowded but all in all lovely!

Had a group of 25. Honestly from start to finish it was excellent. Wonderful service, reasonable wines, we had bruschetta, Fritto misto and charcuterie to share, then I had a delicious fennel and baby arugula salad, Bronzino and berries. Just a great fun place with food that's good.

We grabbed sandwiches from the Bottino take out portion of the restaurant and ate them on the Highline. They had a wide variety of sandwiches and salads with many choices for vegetarians and meat eaters. I enjoyed the grilled eggplant sandwich- it was the right amount of ingredients without making the sandwich too big. Do not be turned away by... More

A perfect place after a Chelsea gallery tour to have lunch. The food is Italien and the service great and quick. The back of the Restaurant has daylight.

We were coming in from out of town for an artist's reception at a nearby Chelsea art gallery and needed a restaurant for dinner for family and friends. We found this place through Trip Advisor and kept our fingers crossed because we couldn't check the place out beforehand. We ended up delighted with the whole experience. I communicated with Danny... Our daughter was running in the NYC Half Marathon so we decided to stay overnight in the City and picked Bottino's purely on a whim. A party of four, we were quickly seated in charming sheltered and nicely heated sunroom (on a rainy March Saturday night) and we had a lovely meal. Several of us had the Fettucine with Lobster... This restaurant is really very good. There are so many great Italian restaurants in New York, and this one isn't flashy, but has great food. We ordered apps, salads, entrees, dessert, wine & coffee. I really enjoyed the burrata app, the antipasto plate and the zuppe di pesce. The pecan pie and chocolate pudding were delicious. The service was pretty... More
