Excellent Italian restaurant that sits on the edge of the water. We ate outside, looking out at the Statue of Liberty. One of our favorite places we ate at during our trip to NYC.

The view is wonderful, an unobstructed view of the Statue of Liberty, right on the water, on a cold windy day it seems a bit isolated. The restaurant is across from the downtown Ritz Carlton, near the SI ferry terminal. The food is excellent, they are particular skilled with seafood and I had a cod special with mushrooms and risotto... More

After a long day of sightseeing and returning to shore from Ellis Island, we stumbled on this restaurant on our way back to the train. I wish it had been warm enough to sit outside near the water. It is a delightful small restaurant with great service and even better food. It was relaxed, un rushed. The wait staff did... More

Gigino is located in the park directly across the street from the Ritz Carlton. Italian food, OK food. Best part is the patio view of the Hudson River and Statue of Liberty. Go early to get a seat outside.

The weather helped - a beautiful sunny day in September and a view from the shady terrace across the harbour to the Statue. This was our last day in NY and we just loved the location, food and service. Considering the location the prices were very reasonable. My wife was very impressed that I had found such a beautiful way... More

We had a family get together and decided to have a nice Italian meal. Gigino's was a wonderful choice..the atmosphere was amazing. the view spectacular and the food over the top. Appetizers were great...calamari to die for and the salad was amazing. Pasta was excellent. Would definitely go back. Great experience.

We ate at Gigino's on a beautiful late summer evening listening to a drum circle in the park while having a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty. Food was excellent and reasonably priced and the ambiance outdoors was amazing.
