The weather helped - a beautiful sunny day in September and a view from the shady terrace across the harbour to the Statue. This was our last day in NY and we just loved the location, food and service. Considering the location the prices were very reasonable. My wife was very impressed that I had found such a beautiful way... More

We had a family get together and decided to have a nice Italian meal. Gigino's was a wonderful choice..the atmosphere was amazing. the view spectacular and the food over the top. Appetizers were great...calamari to die for and the salad was amazing. Pasta was excellent. Would definitely go back. Great experience.

We ate at Gigino's on a beautiful late summer evening listening to a drum circle in the park while having a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty. Food was excellent and reasonably priced and the ambiance outdoors was amazing.

My daughter and I ate here twice and my two sisters once. The view at sunset is beyond compare. Watching the Statute of Liberty is a blessing. The appetizers were so very good. Definitely would return to this restaurant.

With all the construction in the area, it is a difficult restaurant to find. However, worth all the trouble. The weather co-operated, so we sat outside - an amazing view of the Statue of Liberty. For an appetizer, my wife had their special salad, which was very special indeed!. I had the Calamari (very good). Both had the Bolgnese pasta.... More

Booked an evening meal for my husband's birthday of which the restaurant was aware The setting is superb - fantastic views of Lady Liberty & Lower Manhattan. Ordered cocktails on arrival & then had to remind the staff after we had waited 15 minutes, but the place was busy. Toilets are in the public block in Wagner Park but clean... More

Very busy, but worth it. The views out to the river and back to the city are spectacular. The food and service were wonderful. We were the last to leave and didn't feel we were being "rushed" Very professional. Tip - try and avoid nights when they have large bookings....or go later after 8:30.

Being on the water facing the Statue of Liberty, this restaurant has a outstanding view. The food is good, very good but not great. They will not deviate from the menu. And for the portion size, it's not cheap. What got me was the lack of attention to details. This is what separates a good restaurant from a great restaurant.... More
