As one of the best kept secrets in New York City, Gigino at Wagner Park offers a spectacular view of Lady Liberty and the New York Harbor. Location AND taste - well worth a visit!

We visited Gigino on the first night of our stay in NYC for the view - which is spectacular! - but stayed for the food which is surprisingly good. The place was packed of very noisy city types plus big family groups - very Italian in feel. One quibble is that the tables are incredibly close... read more

Went to Gigino on Mother's Day for lunch with our large family. Booked a table a month in advance with no trouble. Loved that we did not have to pay upfront and they had a regular menu. Prices were good for NYC and food and drinks were delicious. Also loved that we were outside on a beautiful day and were... More

Enjoy great food while overlooking the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Food and drinks were good. Service was attentive but you were not rushed.

Had the privilege to attend an engagement luncheon at this fine restaurant. We had a picture perfect Sunday afternoon and had a magnificent view of Lady Liberty, Ellis Island, Governors Island and NY harbor traffic. The service was what you would expect at a fine restaurant but the food exceeded all expectations. The menu selections were numerous enough to please... More

Great view; mediocre food, and very noisy. The salad I had with shrimp added to it was tasteless - I think the shrimp were frozen. The view cant be beat but I'd recommend picking up a sandwich and eating in Wagner Park.

This place isn't just about the fabulous view across the Hudson River to Liberty, Ellis Island and the New Jersey shore, the food is good too!

+ one of the few restaurant´s in NY with a view on the Statue of Liberty, thus I highly recommend eating outside + the food was tasty enough to compensate the waiting time + I liked the parmesan mill offered by the staff while serving the pasta + perfect air without any traces of industrial smoke + easy and simple... The food was delicious, the waitstaff pleasant and helpful. The view over the harbor to the Statue of Liberty, at subset on a beautiful spring evening was spectacular and worth the price. We really enjoyed the dinner. The only drawback is that the restaurant has one restroom, for one person, for the entire establishment, kitchen staff, waitstaff and customers. That... More

Gigino came with a lot of hype, and left me wanting more. The view is incredible. You can see the Statue of Liberty, which lights up at night. The atmosphere is great, especially in thr outside seating area. I had gnocchi with red sauce and it was very bland. Disappointingly bland. They were out of tiramisu, so we had some... More
