Restaurants with a view often fail to deliver..after all if all fails the view is amazing what else do u need? Didn't Samantha say that about gorgeous men and sex in Sex in the City. Great menu, amazing view of the Stature of Liberty but the food just failed to deliver. So instead bring your own sushi and have a... More

Absolutely gorgeous view! Lovely ambiance! This is the perfect destination for a warm sunny afternoon. But be sure to go for the setting, not the food or the service. While the mango cocktail, shrimp portofino, and bread pudding were nice, they were not outstanding. And unfortunately, the table service was rather slow and unorganized.

Nice view even in the rain. The food was above average but you are paying for the location. Can't beat the view of the statue of liberty and Wagner Park.

When you walk Battery Park this is a great place to have a quality lunch with a view. The restaurant is located in a modern pavillon, part of next-door Wagner park, and has a great terrace wich overviews the Hudson river, Liberty Statue in the distance. Even better news is that you eat very good here, I had a perfect... More

I have to say that I don't like too much to discover italian culinary proposal in New York and in general out of Italy. But good reviews and a certain need of italian taste after some days of "other" food pushed me to try this south Manhattan place. It is a simple but nice ambiance, warm and well decorated, without... Very goo little restaurant located in Battery Park. The food was very good Italian but the drawing point of this place is the outstanding view of the Statue of Liberty as you dine.

Having stood there patiently for two minutes while a number of waiters just stood around doing nothing I decided to approach one and ask if I could get a table. Despite multiple vacant tables, I was told to go inside and ask the manager. Upon standing at the desk for a few minutes with the manager busy talking to someone... More
