Lunch Pad

I skipped the noodle dishes and hit the fish. I was delicious and not overly spicy like so many other Thai foods. They also use lemon grass in moderation unlike some other places. TIP: They deliver!

We tried this restaurant from a recommendation from a NYC citizen. We walked around 9th Avenue but thought all the restaurants were very expensive. We asked a friendly person and he told us to walk to 8th Avenue instead and safe approx 50%, which is true. We started with small spring rolls and Chicken satay and had two different curry... More

I visited this place with my sister and her friend, we're all in school so we seek out the reasonably priced places (cheap).. Anyways, this restaurant offered both an appetizer and a meal for only $8 and the food tasted great - their beef pad thai and spring egg roll appetizers were amazing. We appreciated the quick and pleasant service... More

The panaeng curry was so spicy that I almost could not eat it. The beef teriyaki was excellent though. Fair prices.

I just wanted to pop in and have something quick. Lacking imagination I did have a Pad Thai. It's very modern, the service was quick, though a little impersonal, the food OK - good value for that part of town. I don't think you'rd regret coming here; but I don't think you'd be in ecstasy

Stumbled across this place by chance while shopping in Chelsea early one evening. It wasn't busy so no problem getting a table.Quite a small restaurant. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. I had a Red Thai curry and it was as good as any I've had. My partner had the Thai Special fried rice with chicken and she said... More

We stumbled on this place by accident one night, looking for something a bit different to eat. It's small, but very modern and quite busy for a Monday night. I ordered a dish that had a lovely name that I can't remember (something about a golden sun?) which had chili in it, and was a little too hot for my... More

I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. There is a string of various restaurants on 8th Avenue between 14th and 23rd streets (Chelsea), where you sort of take risk with your stomach. Me and my date where pleasantly surprised by the quality for the food served at Pad Thai Noodle Lounge. As an appetizer, I had the "Lava Calamari" which... More

I remember going to this place over couple years ago under a different owner. The place went down hill. I never write reviews but the food was awful. Second time this happened. Ordered Spring rolls. Really dry and tough.( Supposed to favorites on there menu) sticky ricky with mango was too sweet and it wasn't cause of the mangoes. I... More

There was really nothing to rave about in this restaurant but at the same time there was nothing to be too picky about. The ambience and decor was nice and would have been an enjoyable place to dine if it were not for a very loud trio of people who didn't know how to use their 'indoors' voices - and... More
