Hidden gem under new management. Very good service. The Persian rice is a standout. A very nice respite from the NY cacphony.

Recently I wanted to try different cuisine - something unknown to me and not very common. We went to Bamiyan - Persian delight. We were very nicely surprised - greeted by really pleasant hostess we were seated on the cushion seats by the window. Our server (really nice woman) was attentive throughout the evening, explained the menu and did a... More

This place is great. The food is good, sheesha is great and all affordable. The amtosphere is casual and great chill place to go and hang out with friends. This is my new regular place.

We stopped for lunch and were amazed by the food, the decor and the service. We sat on the cushion seats at the window. I must warn you, it is difficult to get in and out of these and then when you sit, your legs must be kept straight it becomes a challenge not to get tangled with the person... More

For those of us who do not know very much about Persian or Afghan cuisine, this place was a pleasant and welcoming find. The attentive staff kindly helped us navigate the varied menu. We had the five course meat dinner for two and experienced a wide variety of interesting and delicious dishes. Featuring soup, salad, appetizer, choice of entree and... More

Flavorful and delicious food. Pumpkin turnovers were awesome. Noodle with red kidney bean sauce was great as well.

I love the decor theme of the restaurant but found it to be dark, shabby and less than clean. If my daughter hadn't eaten here many times before I would not have stayed. We sat along the windows on carpet covered cushions where the people watching is great, though not recommend seating for older, less fit people. The mixed drink... More

This was my second favourite restaurant in New York City after the counter but if you fancy a proper meal this is the place to go. The food is Afghani and tastes very similar to Iranian food. The service was quick and I loved the taste combinations. I would eat here again and for me made a nice change from... More

Ate here last night with my husband and it was just okay. The wine we asked for was available by the glass only and not by the bottle, which we found interesting as it was listed on the wine list as glass or bottle. Apparently they wanted us to buy a more expensive bottle, which we ended up doing. We... More
