Breakfast hot spot!

We ate breakfast here almost every day, while staying at Hotel 91 (just 2 blocks away). Nice staff and good food. Great value for money!

Our hotel recommended this place. The food was very good & reasonable price. Very small but always found a seat. Interesting to watch all the police force who eats there. The waitress the first time & last was great! The 2nd day the waitress was totally lost! Gave my order to another customer after serving my husband so I waited... More

This is a nice find for a good breakfast at a reasonable price. It's small but the quality and quantity of food are adequate. When you leave you don't feel like you bought a piece of the business. The help seemed very accommodating. Thumbs up on our first visit.

We went here three mornings running for breakfast whilst in New York, great food, cooked fresh, well priced and good service. After our first visit we were recognised and greeted warmly, lots of local police use this restaurant, don't expect anything fancy but expect good wholesome breakfast

The food is the usual diner food, however, this visit was a disaster. We decided to eat lunch here and ordered the standard burger/fries. It was the usual lunch crowd, but this day one of the waitresses kept yelling the orders over the customers and was very rushed. After 20 minutes (there were only 5 other tables of customers waiting)... More

This was one of the best breakfasts of our whole 4 week trip...a very friendly welcome to this traditional looking diner. The breakfasts were huge, well presented and fabulous...pancakes that melt in your mouth and excellent English muffins. Wish we could have eaten there again but we found it on our last day. As other reviewers have said the owner... More

My boyfriend and I were staying in China Town (Hotel 91) and we found this by accident! Was by far one of the best breakfasts and value for money! You get loads so you're nice and full for the day! We were sat amongst the local police and other locals it was brilliant! Staff were lovely also! Would certainly recommend!!

Everest is simply amazing! We stayed at Hotel 91 (about 3 blocks away) and ate every breakfast here. In the 5 days we were in NY, we got to know Teddy (the proprietor) who is SO SWEET! Oh my, the blueberry muffins (toasted!) are a must, the croissants (made daily!) are alos a must. We did not have a single... More

We stayed in Hotel 91 just 2 blocks over and ate here everymoring. Place is fast friendly and the have a great menu. Also since it is close to the courthouses it is probably the savest place to eat anywhere in the city when we where there for breakfast there where at least 10 cops in there. Super friendly staff... Family run restaurant. The owner, Teddy, is always there. Super friendly and very helpful. Food is fresh and there is a good variety. Reasonably priced. We had 3 meals there and all were very good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for service alone.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
