Usually go to this place a lot, since it is in my neighborhood. Went there last night and ordered what I usually get he Branzino. The food at grotto is moderate, the prices normal for food you would expect from a mediterranean restaurant, however on my second trip there the waitress was curt and at the end unacceptably rude. We were a large group working out the check and she hounded us multiple times until she came back and was rolling her eyes telling us... more

Just went to Grotto last night. Its terribly small ! You feel like you are in a sardine can. Snobby atmosphere and waitstaff. We had reservations and we waited 30 minutes just for appetizers! Food was expensive and was at best comparable to diner food. Don't visit this place unless you're a glutton for punishment!! more
