An authentic Moroccan experience

Certainly a very authentic cuisine even though the décor is more East Village. The prices are very fair for New York and for this quality. Staff tries hard to give the best service however, this place is packed and they did an amazing job all things considered. Eat early to avoid the crowd and if you have hearing aids as... More

It was well worth it. I had the Mediterranean eggs Benedict which was cooked perfect. Typically I don't finish the home fries but these were devoured. Also, the mimosas are surprising small so beware.

Stopped for a quick lunch after being recommended this by a friend. Very good espresso, coupled with a goats cheese and walnut salad, and a mushroom/herb omelette - excellent value and great fresh food. Definitely worth a visit and one we'll return to on future visits.

Good service and wine choices. Food is basic but well seasoned and cooked nicely. Nice informal atmosphere. Would go again if in the area.

Love this NYC classic lebanese restaurant. The down-to-earth authentic vibe pulls you in and the food does not dissapoint. Am a fan of the ginger tomato soup and lamb tagine with charmoula sauce. they have a fab 2 course weekday lunch special that is easy on the pocket. home to classic Woody Allen movie scenes. A must visit for lunch,... More

Had dinner at Mogador with friends. The service was great and though a couple of people from our group were late, the service team let us occupy our table and were very understanding since we had a couple of kids with us. The food was very good. We ordered hummus/falafel starters and tagine etc for main course. Everything was very... More

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
