We visited Café Mogador at the end of June while dropping my son off for a summer program at NYU. It was lunch time on Sunday, but they were still service brunch so most in our party opted for that. I had an omelet with spinach and goat cheese which was absolutely delicious! The brunch was served with orange juice... More

I have been here for both dinner and breakfast and both meals were spot on. They have a little bit of outdoor seating which is nice but hard to get. Even though the get kind of busy even during the brunch rush, they are worth the wait and really seat everyone as fast as they can. They also close late,... More

This bistro serves Moroccan cuisine with a number of French dishes thrown in. We were there with a large party (about 10) on a Wednesday evening. The service was attentive, the prices very reasonable (typical for the area), the crowd happily noisy, but the noise not overwhelming. We sampled throughout the menu from a properly done hanger steak with excellent... More

During a 5 day stay in the East Village with our friends, we happened to walk by this café on several occasions and noticed it was so inviting and always had lots of people. We went two mornings in a row, one was on the weekend when they served brunch. We all liked our breakfasts, and my husband's eggs benedict... More

For over 30 years, Café Mogador in the East Village is serving Moroccan and Mediterranean food, morning til night. And it’s no surprise how this restaurant has stood the test of time. They’re serving tasty, authentic food at super affordable prices. The vibe is extremely relaxed and casual, but you still get friendly and attentive service. Sit where you’d like, whether it’s inside... More

Had the chicken tagin at lunch, with a bowl of lamb and chickpea soup, and labne with fresh bread. In the top 3 of the meals I ate in NYC, and will return. Space is also relaxed and represents the tagine culture.

while visiting with family, they suggested we go to Mogador for brunch as they love it there. they have a $15 special brunch on the weekend that includes a wonderful coffee, fresh squeezed juice and several breakfast entrees. I tried the salmon eggs benedict one day and the next (yes we went back the next day too) time I ordered... More

Heard about it from a friend. Took a guided tour, the guide was bright and full of knowledge about this era. I'll definitely go back for their other tours.

We encountered the restaurant while walking by and were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the the Goat Cheese & Cherry Tomato Tart served with a small salad followed by the Whole Grilled Dorade Royale. The fish was crispy on the outside, yet delicate and flaky on the inside ~ a Mediterranean dish taken to a whole... More

This is a really nice place to have a well made meal. Great location and not too noisy. Easy to have a conversation. Good value for the area too.
