This place is amazing. Fantastic appetizers, exceptional flavors. Lamb tagine was really great. The Bastilla was a little dry but still tasty. Best falafel ever. Great desserts and Moroccan tea to top it off. Highly recommended if looking for something different. Nice ambience, worth the wait.

I hate those restaurants that make a party of 2 wait until everyone is present. I feel it is so pretentious, especially when multiple tables are available. That's what this restaurant does and the hostesses were really annoying about it. My friend showed up 5 minutes earlier than I did and they wouldn't seat him. Come on, the food is... More

Great place for something a little different. We shared a spinach and feta omelet and the Halumi eggs; which came with olives, roasted tomatoes, and Halumi cheese. The harissa sauce was amazing - we had to ask for more. It's always crowded, but service is good and the food unique. Price is reasonable, considering it's NYC!

Came in on a Friday night. So packed and had to wait outside for 30 mins for a table. Then given a poor table, right by the door and bar. My guest didn't like this at all. Great buzzy atmosphere, reminded me of being in a steak bistro in Paris. Service was good considering how busy the place was and... More

I was lucky enough to be introduced to this restaurant by my dear friend who's been going there fore 20 years. The food was some of the best Moroccan food I've had. When the server automatically brings harissa sauce to the table, you know it's authentic. We had the hummus, squid stuff with couscous and roasted cauliflower with preserved lemon... More

We were a party of 4. Based on previous reviews we got here early - soon after they opened at 9. We got seated right away and ordered coffee. The server did not specify that default coffee is espresso. If this is not ok for you, you should specify americano to get standard american coffee. They also make good cappuccino.... More

I stayed in NYC for 4 days as a party of 6. Reviewed a few restaurants, unfortunately most have been disappointing, some spoiled by price, some by poor food and some by awful service. The Mogador succeeded on all 3 levels. My wife and I met up with an old friend from the UK who lives in the area and... More

I love Moroccan food, so I had to try Mogador Café. This small café is by far the best Moroccan food I have had. I had the hummus and falafel. I was definitely impressed. If you like Moroccan or Med. food, Mogador Café will cater to your every hunger.
