Went to this place on Friday night. The prices were moderate, but the food was really, really good. I had the pollo con salsa habichuelas. It came with these coconut yams that were the best thing ever. I'll be looking up a recipe for those (maybe Thanksgiving this year). A regular haunt when I was living in NYC - cuban/ brazilian smoky yumminess - pork is a fave - usually washed down with a Capairoska (vodka rather than cachaca, though they have both). Definitely get the plantain chips with the spicy smooth garlicky black bean dip to start. more
