So good!

In many ways I like Five Guys fries better. But for just $4.50 for a small (which is humongous and enough for two people) and the tasty sauces the twice fried, crispy, meaty fries are very satisfying. To me it is worth waiting in line for up to 10mins for.

Zamalama, the great thing about fries is there's a million delicious ways to eat them! You don't have to eat our frites everyday (unless you want to). We're just glad to hear you love what we do, and we appreciate you helping to spread the word. Join us again whenever you're craving some Belgian frites! Best wishes, Suzanne and Omer More

My sister and I stopped by this place couple of months ago. There are a lot of sauces to choose from. My sister and i really liked these fries and it's fun to pick and choose different sauces and try new ones every visit.

Thanks so much for checking us out with your sister, jff203! It sounds like you've visited a couple times so far and tried a few sauces, but we're willing to bet there are still many you've yet to taste. You'll have to join us again soon! Best wishes, Suzanne and Omer More

Set up a recent pub and food crawl for a group of friends and built the night around a stop at Pommes Frites. Glad i did! Great fries delivered quickly to a hungry group. We tried all different mayos and the cheese curd and gravy. All were excellent. Next time i'm goin naked- plain fries were delicious enough!

JennAndDeanGo2Dinner, we're thrilled to hear you loved your visit! Smart plan making us part of a pub crawl: we're the perfect snack after a few beers (or before). Feel free to get the fries solo, but don't miss out on our sauces! Trying all the flavors is what makes the whole experience so fun. See you again soon, Suzanne and... More

I really enjoyed this place. The choices though- so many to choose from, I could hardly decide. It is really fun, and the flavors are interesting and delicious.

It's a tough choice to make between our more than two dozen dipping sauces, Maria. The great thing is you really can't make a bad choice! We're always happy to offer samples to help you decide -- remember that for next time! Thank you, Suzanne and Omer More

Every trip from NY to the East Village is my excuse to get here around Noon for the astonishingly good fries and very large variety of dipping sauses. Lines are a bit long on weekends as you might expect. I advise you to get the largest order you think you can eat - it will be well worth it!! Have... More

Sounds like great advice to us, Tom. We could all do to treat ourselves more often. Glad to hear our frites are one of your favorite treats! While we do often have a line, don't worry: we keep it moving quickly and make sure you get what you're craving without too much of a wait. Hopefully we'll see you again... More

Delicious fries with a wide variety of sauces. Try the Peppercorn Parm sauce. Also had the Lemon Dill Mayo which was good as well.

Fresh hand cut frites made to order makes this place a must stop on your list. Tons of toppings and sauces will leave you coming back for more. Went with the parmessian/herb topping with a side of white truffle mayo. Nice!

ocloanshark, good call on stopping by our place after a night out! We love the late night crowd; it's almost as enjoyable meeting people in line at 2 AM as it is actually eating our frites. Glad you loved the food and had a great time! Hope to see you again whenever you're in NYC. All the best, Suzanne and... More

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
