Nice and service minded. Great steaks

I can recommend the Porterhouse steak. And plenty more,) It worked very well to do the booking via open table. Also the Tuna tartar was a great starter. They also have plenty of good wines by the glass

great restaurant for steaks or fish! We loved the atmosphere, the subdued light, the fact that event tho it was very busy, it was not too noisy. The dinner started with some kind of big "muffin" made of bread and cheese, absolutely delicious with butter! We shared salads ( quite big) and fish for the main course. Ice cream for... More

Highly recommended for a great evening out. Dining is a la carte. The steaks are amazing. All the food portions are large. Service is top notch. There is always someone cleaning your table or clearing plates. And there was not a long wait for food even in a full restaurant. The atmosphere is very comfortable and not at all pretentious. Now... Once a month, my wife and I get on the train and visit Midtown. I picked this steakhouse because the head chef was featured on an episode of Chopped. The restaurant is located on 57th Street between Park ave and Lexington. The entrance is very skinny and can be hard to find if you're not looking for it. The entry... More

Great ambiance...incredible food and very attentive staff! Can't say enough. A visit to New York isn't complete without a meal at a fine restaurant....this is indeed one of them!

You just gotta love this place! Service is amazing. Drinks are on point! Great wine list! But best of all, of course, the steaks! Done to perfection. Also try the Cobb salad, it's a perfect starter, although large enough that it might fill you up too much :)

This is a favourite of mine since our first visit to NY. The winner of Hell's Kitchen became a chef here which encouraged us to go. I think the is one better than here and that Strip House (see my review there). The food here is consistently good and the service matches the food. I even ordered a wine which... More

The steaks were good but no better than at other prime type steak house. The tenderloin was tasty and large. I had the braised short ribs and they were excellent. The chopped salad appetizer was very good but our other appetizers were not worth the money. Our biggest complain was with the cost, presentation and size of the sides. For... More

Has a great vibe. Stand at the bar and catch up with friends before being seated. Fairly up market and attracts a social crowd. Make sure you book ahead on Friday or week ends.

I'm a bar scene person. I sir at the bar for dinner whenever possible. The bar at BLT steak is sad. It's messy, disfunction all, and sad. Did I say sad? It is sad. It could be great, but it's not. You see all the mess. Napkins stacked on wine glasses. Everything piled around registers from 1990. No cohesive bar... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
