The restaurant is attatched to hotel in a good mid-town location. Attracts a cosmopolitan crowd, so if your looking for a 'classy crowd' not for you. The food, on the other hand is excellent. The steaks are fantastic and cooked to perfection. The wine list is excessively expensive and I would recommend wine by the glass as proportionately less expensive... More

BLT Steak has a energetic yet sophisticated vibe located in midtown Manhattan. Service is extremely accommodating and ready to please. The short ribs are just my favorite item on the menu. The meat just melts off the bone, sides are meant to be shared. The wine list is extensive and offer choices for all palettes. This is a perfect date... More

The dry aged NY strip I had was perfectly cooked to order, med. rare, charred outside and perfect warm red center, it couldn't have been any better. Our favorite sauce is the Bearnaise, the blue cheese a close runner up. My wife had the filet and it was delicious. From the start we had some of the best food in... More

My Filet Migion was delicious! I savored every bite. The texture, Temperature, smell and taste all perfect and better than the Palm and Peter lugers. $49.00 buys you the Best . Now the sides were $12. each and they were small and average in taste and lack of preparation. wines by the glass were overpriced and a very small pour... More

With a wonderful leaf lettuce salad to begin (husband loved tuna tartar), a stack of great onion rings, delicious vegetables (potato skins as a side? I mean really), and the best bone in rib eye I ever had. The service is wonderful, the seating very comfortable, and the buzz of New York everywhere to be found. Feels like more local... More

had an excellent meal with colleagues here...food is first class, service good. Steaks mouth-wateringly tasty, and the sides done very well. My main gripe is the wine...only 2 bottles under $100!!! And they were $90. Come on guys, I've been to steak houses in Argentina where you can bring your own (other end of the spectrum I know). But why... More

Enjoyed a very nice rib-eye last night served exactly as ordered. Great tuna tartar as a starter. We had a decent Brunello wine with the meal and decent port afterwards. Good atmosphere and tables are just far enough apart so that you don't overhear your neighbors. Overall the staff was very helpful and friendly. The reason I give 4 versus... More

We had booked on open table to come to this restaurant. Unfortunately I booked the wrong blt. I booked the sister one. The staff at this blt said it was no problem and they found a table for use in this restaurant. What an amazing place. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. I had fish and... More

After asking several people in New York where my partner could get the best steak we opted for BLT. I have recently stopped eating meat and fish but I am always happy to go along with his choice as I know how much he loves a good steak. The staff upon entering were not very welcoming and continued their own... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
