Having just arrived in NY, a staff member at our hotel recommended this place. As we were just off a plane we weren't in the mood for a full three course meal and so just opted for a main course. Each of our dishes were exceptionally tasty. I had the rack of lamb which was beautifully cooked and full of... More

I've been there with friends for lunch and we were surprised to find truly Italians as staff. Not that easy in the city. The food was excellent we had tagliatelle bolognese and an appetizer of artichokes. Our server was great, he spent time at our table talking about his experience and answering our questions. It was a very nice lunch.... More

Get the lasagna for sure. We all were very happy with our choices. Wife liked spaghetti and kids lived fettucini.

A small restaurant, good wine list and the door can be passed very quickly so take your time looking for it on the right hand side of the street...brown door. Service, excellent, home made pasta and veal excellent and a appetizer of egg plant zuccini and cheese outstaniding. My friend had steak and I had rack of lamb and another... More

The food was acceptable. My wife's lasagna looked more like a meatloaf. She was not impressed especially as it was listed as a specialty. My son asked me to try his Tiramisu. He was confused as it had chocolate chips in it and the texture was odd. I told him it was Tiramisu meets Billy Miner Pie. This restaurant is... More

We have been going to this cosy, family restaurant fro over 10 years and always include it in our New York itinerary. The food is excellent, always made with the freshest of ingredients and the service is friendly and efficient. The multi layer lasagna is the best in New York.

Yes, the food was very good and you definitely can tell it was fresh. I did enjoy my meal. However, I will not return because of how blatantly rude the servers were to me and my friend. I am confident there are other italian restaurants nearby that are just as good, but with pleasant service. When we asked the waiter... More

A snowstorm in New York is a great reason to try a neighborhood restaurant! A phone call reservation is all it took to get a table in this quite busy Italian eatery. Not quite sure why all the service people keep showing up at the table but all are unobtrusive and efficient. A broad menu of Italian dishes for our... More

Teodora is a relaxing, unpretentious, italian gem. The service is helpful, thoughtful, unhurried, and attentive. The decor is simple and inviting but not a large place. The pastas we had, Fazzoletto and the Strozzapreti, were perfectly made and well prepared, light not doughy at all, with the proper bite and the right amount of sauce and portioning. I rarely make... We love this little restaurant! It is so homey and comfortable and the food, atmosphere and staff makes us feel like we are in Italy. It is our go to Italian Manahattan especially when the weather is cold we know we will receive a warm welcome from Manuela and the rest of the staff. This place takes great pride in... More
