Can't fault it.

This is a fabulous restaurant with plenty of seating. We both had the steak done with their signature sauce. Delicious and came with theatre with the waiter preparing the sauce including flames at our table. The steak was sensational. Word of warning come with plenty of folding stuff as it is a big... read more

Great steak house and conveniently located next to Towers at New York Palace Hotel. Steak, lobster, chicken and fish are all available at this offshoot of Smith & Wollensky

we went twice to this restaurant during a recent trip to the city. The choice was originally because it was close to our hotel. The second time was because we enjoyed it the first time. The hosts at the door and the manager were both very good. It is what it says it is ie a New York Steakhouse. Menu... More

During our semi-annual trips to NYC we tried to dine at this restaurant one time, usually just on the day before we leave. One of our favorite things about this restaurant is the martini cart which they bring to your table and make your martini (we had an excellent Plymouth gin martini, $15.00). I understand that now you have to... More

Maloney has been around for ever but it does not disappoint. The service at its best is superb. A waiter called Russell knew the wines and foods backwards and came up with impressive trumps. Great and generous wine. Delicious lobster and superb steaks. I have always been fond of it but when not too busy they are special and a... More

This is a classic Manhattan steak house in the Smith and Wollensky group, tucked in behind St Patricks Cathedral. Lots of wood, bright linen and sparkling tables. We had the evening deal of menu with wine thrown in. All of the food was excellent. Not fine dining but good ingredients traditionally prepared. We both had three course with 8oz filet... More

This restaurant is so consistent. The steaks are great and the lobster dishes are well prices...served perfectly and they are acceptably priced. If you are a couple get a table on the balcony looking down on the dinners.....its fun. Bar prices are sensible.....and this is a busy place but not too busy to care for your food and service needs.

We had 9 people for breakfast. Maloney and Porcelli was very accommodating, the food was good and we did not have to wait long for our meal. Would love to try them for dinner.

We just checked in at NY Palace after a long flight from Phoenix. Checked trip advisor for a steakhouse. M&P was even closer than expected. Lively place with excellent food and top shelf service!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
