Delightful Italian Food

We ordered the linguini pescatore for two. It has shellfish, calamari, mussels, shrimps, clams, linguini and a red sauce. The bread was fresh and served with black olives. The entrée was delicious and plentiful. The sauce was excellent. This dish could have fed three people. They used to include... read more

Very small, quaint restaurant. Everything from start to finish was delicious. Small portion of pesto was enough for me. One son had black ink pasta which I will go back to get myself! Prices are great as is staff.

Like this cozy Italian restaurant not only because of easy access location also because of very good food. I have never eaten such a wonderfully cooked salmon and even my son ate it when he was 18 months old! Very well decorated and kept warm with good management...Always reasonable pricing and nice cocktails...

Excellent fish and pastas. Good quality price in NYC with a local authenticity atmosphere and a personnal attention.

It's a small NYC restaurant with tables really close together but it was cozy and they decorated nicely for the holiday season. Lived the fish and we really loved the flatbreads. Good experience here, we'd go back again.

Second ave is not the gourmet center of Manhattan. Nice fun places with young crowds. At this place I was underwhelmed in every way. Average decor, average or less service, at bet average food. It is not expensive so I guess thats a plus.

Reliably great food. The prices are super reasonable. Not the same "at home" vibe of prior visits but there is a new lead partner. You can always count on a good meal and fresh food.

My family and I went to this restaurant last night. There was no ambience. It was very plain which would have been acceptable if the food had been outstanding. I eat out a lot and know good food and service. We ordered 3 apps for 5 people. The mushroom balls, were nothing special, the ricotta; nice and creamy but not... More

We walked past the parade of restaurants and bars on 2nd Ave while out for a stroll from our nearby hotel. As we have eaten already, we decided to come back the next evening. It was coming to the end of Happy Hour and we chose Pescatore because we were in the mood for Italian. This choice proved to be... More

Had a wonderful meal in this restaurant and booked it for a wedding rehearsal dinner and breakfast the day after the wedding. Both were outstanding!!! The manager, Jake, could not have been more helpful and accomodating. He took time to understand each event and set up seating and made menu suggestions accordingly. The food was super fresh, delicious, and the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
