This restaurant was recommended to us by Rome, the doorman at the nearby Affinia 50 where we were saying, as being a place to get great authentic Italian food. I normally take recommendations like this with a pinch of salt but we thought we would give it a try and were delighted that we did. We entered and were seated... More

This restaurant was located nearby our hotel in Manhattan, New York. The restaurant was pretty small, but with friendly staff, nice atmosphere and the food was served quickly. Having three kids meaning usually having three different tastes, however, our food orders were found to be warm and tasty to everyone. At last, I enjoyed a real and good espresso coffee... More

Recommended by our hotel. We loved the "feel" of the place. Everyone there seemed happy. Staff was very friendly. Food was good but not the best Italian we have ever had. The mussels were very good but the smallest I have ever seen in my life. If you are in that area I would recommend it.

We had mixed green salad, broccoli rabe, steamed mussels, and spaghetti with meatballs. All were good. Price was fair for New York City. Wife martini was a bit weak. It got noisy when the place filled up.

We managed to get a table outside in the sun which was nice, we enjoyed starters and a glass of wine. The service was very good despite an almost full house. I ordered the vongole which is one of my favourite Italian dishes, i was woefully disappointed. It tasted like they had cooked the dish and then washed the pasta... More

Service is excellent, always able to get seated right away during the week. Food is fresh, try the fresh homemade bolognese and molton chocolate cake for dessert.

I used to go to this restaurant about 15 years ago, when living in NYC. I have just been there again to celebrate my birthday, and after all this while it feels the same. Honest italian food (don´t go for pizza, please!!), excellent seafood. Relatively attentive service, fair wine selection, not overly expensive. Linguini pescatore was divine, black hot linguini... Went to this restaurant for an evening meal. The selection of food was exceptional and the service excellent. The choice of wines to accompany the meal was varied and the red selected was very acceptable. I recommend that you reserve a table as it is a very popular eatery. When in New York make sure you eat here

We went there around 5pm to have a bier and pizza. The place was fine, there was construction work on the street so it was loudy, and we're sitting outside 'cos the weather was fine. We ordered a margarita pizza(flatbread) but it was so small. Usually i get pizza as main course but here it was like a starter, but... More
