Description: Per Se, the much-anticipated restaurant from renowned chef Thomas Keller, debuted in February 2004 in the Time Warner Center complex at Columbus Circle. With striking views of Columbus Circle and Central Park, the dining room is a rare blend of open space and easy intimacy, discreet drama and understated luxury. Offering a 64-seat dining room, a 10-seat private dining room, a lounge, a bar and wine cellar, all presented in a palette of warm neutrals and natural elements, Per Se will refine and redefine the dining experience. For dinner, Per Se offers two prix fixe tasting menus for $295; a 9 course Tasting of Seasonal Vegetables or the 9 course Chef’s Tasting Menu, which changes daily. We also offer a five, seven and nine-course menu during lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for $185, $235 and $295 respectively.

My husband and I visit fine restaurants frequently. In terms of service, Per Se exemplified high end service. Staff was friendly and attentive although not overly friendly. Sommelier was very good. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the Time Warner building. Very nice ambiance with beautiful views. We selected the 9 course tasting with the two upgrades... More

As visitors to NY from the UK, this was to be one of the highlights of our trip. I had very high expectations and these were met and exceeded. From start to finish this was the most memorable meal of our lives. The food was beyond amazing, the service was attentive and friendly without being intimidating or 'stuffy'. We got... More

We had lunch here and it was a nice experience. Service was professional, but stiff. To start with I had nettle pierogi with morel and pea tendrils . I was a small portion, but delicious. My husband had ricotta agnolotti with pepper, fava beans and meyer lemon. I like my pierogi better. I then had the lobster with miso pudding... More

I have read all the amazing reviews and couldn't wait to try this restaurant. Went for lunch. Gorgeous setting, comfortable and upscale without a stuffy feel. Decided to try the 7 course meal. What was surprising is that the food wasn't that great. The service, presentation and atmosphere are a 10, but the food is good but not amazing. What... More

Yes, it's very good, but not in relation to the price. Most dishes were not that memorable. Service was friendly, but would for example serve out when people of our party were visiting toilet. The ambiance is stuffy and oldfashioned ( the view is great though), and the air conditioning blasted us away so it got unpleasantly chilly, (and it... More

We had lunch here on a lazy Saturday afternoon in February, not sure what to expect with all the hype. We watched the sun dance along the tree line of Central Park and had unhurried four hour lunch with about nine courses. The atmosphere is serene, service is crisp, and our tour of the kitchen quite enlightening.

We were in NY for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and decided to book lunch here - very last minute as they must have had a cancellation. It was divine. Food was superb, service was excellent and the attention to detail was incredible. We also had personalised menu's but because we were going out for dinner we chose the smaller menu.... More

WOW ... From start to finish to memories.... Everything was amazing and the restaurant lived up to all its hype and reputation. Out of this world dining experience if you are a foodie and so well put together and presented. Expensive... Yes ... Worth it .... YES, YES, YES...

The menu is highly sophisticated, even for those of us with extensive restaurant experience. It's smart to keep the menu at the table so that ingredients and stylized presentation doesn't confuse your palate once wine pairings take hold of your short-term memory.

One of the finest restaurants in the world, the food was owesome, you must try the oyster... it's a signature dish and a must. The service was exquisite and they also give great advise when you are indecisive. The only thing I suggest to improve is the bread... I'm sorry but it was cold and hard... I will be back!!... More
