We are big French Laundry fans and were thrilled when Thomas Keller opened Per Se in NYC. The food is amazing. Each amuse-bouche yummier than the last and the tasting menu was mind-blowingly good. Love the service and the fact that the tables are far apart from each other - a rare luxury in any restaurant these days when one... More

Dinner for two for my 30th: personalised birthday menu, attentive and professional wait staff, stunning atmosphere, prime table, we were so impressed and that was before any food came out! When the food did come out, each beautifully presented course was better than the last. After dinner we were treated to a tour of the kitchen. What a way to... More

More often than not reviews of restaurants , particularly ones of such high calibre concentrate soley on the food, and understandably so. At per se however, my first thought is the sheer perfection of its staff. Their knowledge of the menu and every ingredient on it is unrivalled in any restaurant I have dined in. The tasting menu is of... More

A phenomenal experience. Service was great, made to feel so special, from personalized menu through deserts to take home at the end. Food was varied and all plates were thoughtfully constructed and beautifully presented. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, this is the place!

My wife and I have been fortunate to eat in many of the finest restaurants in the world (10 plus 2 and 3 Michelin Starres establishments) and so we wanted to ensure we ate in New York's finest during our recent trip. I can't say the meal was poor, or the service was less than good, but it is fair... More

Top 10 restaurants in NYC....easily Per Se is 1,two and trois. Easy...two tasting menus to choose from then, let the chef do his job. Paired with a few glasses of wine and your buds are in total bliss. Desert is an understatement, as the petite 4s keep coming. A wonderful experience beyond a restaurateur can explain. Please note the bellow... More

I have called "per se" and they told me to call 30 days ahead at 10 am. I asked if they take single person and they replied yes. I called 30 days ahead at 9.57 am and recorded message said it's closed. I keep calling until 10 am and recorded message finally said it's opened and please hold. After 16... More

We’ve experienced French Laundry on the West Coast as well and Per Se is just as divine, yet different. The creations are to die for and the service is impeccable. It’s not inexpensive, but if you’re a foodie, it’s so worth saving up for it. This is cuisine at it's apex.

Having been to The French Laundry several times, we were anxious to go to Per Se. We had a wonderful experience from begining to end. Our seating was at 5:30 so when we arrived they were not open yet but we were warmly greeted and coats taken. When seated we were spoken to by all the staff that was ready... More
