Description: Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.

We had dinner at the nougatine for our wedding Anniversary and I have to admit that we were disappointed by the quality of the service and overall by the experience. We chose the tasting menu, which was overall good, although the meat/steack came surprisingly relatively cold. It was well cooked but cold, which is not the standard expected by such... More

Elegant restaurant, excellent view of the Central park, good food choices, the service is impeccable. It is not easy to make a dinner reservation, so we enjoyed at luch time. We had the veal Milanese which we highly recommend. This is an unforgetable good restaurant.

We always eat at the bar. Excellent service and great people watching! Nice menu and very comfortable. Shrimp salad with champagne dressing was amazing. Calamari, not so much.

Live in Paris and so am often in Good, quality restaurants on a semi-regular basis. Compared to a good Parisian Hotel Restaurant, they are way behind, although they try. Service quite good, food overpriced ( a la carte) value therefore disappointing. They try to emulate Alain Ducasse I guess, but are way below his standards, pity. Lunch is probably a... More

I have been to Nougatine , Jean George's casual place for dinner a couple of years ago. I enjoyed it, the food and service were good, but the place felt a bit too sterile for dinner.... It is The perfect place for lunch. Sit at the bar and enjoy a view of Central Park . The calamari was perfectly fried... More

We made a reservation on Opentable.com and had the three-course lunch at 11:45. Upon arrival every employee we encountered was very professional and crisp/sharp in their appearance. The attire was business casual, but from my observation no one person was treated better or worse than another based upon attire - again, an attribution to professional and well trained staff. The... The Nougatine at Trump International Hotel is beautifully designed and decorated. The service is impeccable, quick, friendly, observant. We had the prix fixe lunch menue for USD 38. Good value for money. The food was really good, but not excellent, e.g. the tuna tartar starter came with a vinaigrette sauce with too much acid that more or less totally killed... More

We hadn't made a reservation for the lunch but they were so friendly and booked us in for the next table right away. It is best to make a reservation. They sat us next to the window so we'd have a lovely view. The atmosphere is comfortable, not stuffy, even with the business casual enforcement and the food is wonderful. Reasonably... More

We all 4 had high expectations of Nougatine at Jean Georges, but eventually had a very disappointing dinner. Main reason was the terrible place of our table right in front of the entrance doors which opened every 20 seconds, thereby causing a big draught!! and right next to the overcrowded bar. People were constantly walking in and out as well... More
