Description: Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.

Went here a couple of times. The food was great & the portion was just enough, not too small, not too big. The Terrace is a perfect place to dine, drink, & hangout, we could talk easily because it was not too noisy. The ginger margarita is the best, you must try!!

A meal from any Michelin Star kitchen shouldn't disappoint, especially when Chef Jean George is the culinary master behind it. True to form our meal was exquisite from starter through to dessert. The ambiance is hard to beat in the smart casual dining room with great views of Central Park and Columbus Circle. The staff were incredibly attentive and courteous,... More

Nougatine is the more informal Jean Georges restaurant located inside the Trump Hotel at Central Park West, across from the Columbus Circle Time Warner Center. My partner and I scored a reservation for restaurant week--which means a 3 course prix fixe for $35 dollars or so. Now, restaurant week can suck at a lot of restaurants, but I genuinely enjoyed... The terrace is romantic and nice, but the service and the food is quite simple and regular, considering this is a Jean George's restaurant. The bread was old and stale! Too much noise..not enough nuts!

We sat on the patio which is recommended if the weather's good. The prix fixe menu is a real bargain. Fresh flavors at their best, decent service, imaginative menu.

Stuck inside an Hotel Bar/Cafe Seating, alongside the more elegant Jean-Georges Main Dining Room, this little gem has all the cuisine surprises you'd expect from its larger cousin. There is no finer food being served at the moment in NYC.

The food was inventive and tasty. The plating was excellent. I had the crusted salmon...devine. The view is wonderful..of Central Park..if you sit near the front of the restaurant. My only miss was the service which I found to be a bit surly and unfriendly from the wait staff only.

I had not been to Nougatine in a few years and it seems to have gone way downhill. The staff was nice but they seemed quite overwhelmed when we arrived and a few of the other clients were visibly angry. The major disappointment was the food. The menu was uncreative and apart from a delicious foie gras brulee starter, everything... More

It was too nice to sit inside so stayed on the terrace, twice in July. Food excellent, staff very helpful, friendly and with a good sense of humour, excellent wine list and very helpful sommelier. Only slight let down was second visit the waiter, whilst very pleasant was not very attentive.

Prestigious location and top notch service. Great food and great view of Central Park. Food was delicious and plated very aesthetically. Comfortable and very nice crowd and service. Coming again soon and it should be listed as a top place for NYC brunch!
