Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.

Very Good, But Could Be So Much More

I recently had the good fortune to eat here several times over a three day period. It is very good. About that there can be no doubt. BUT there can also be no doubt that the services is spotty at best--sometimes the pacing is slooow. Sometimes it is way too fast. The drinks are excellent and... read more

From the moment you enter Nougatine you feel special. the staff are so welcoming and competent that your entire dining experience is a delight. The food is simple and the high quality super fresh ingredients are second to none. It was my birthday and the staff went out of their way with a special dessert presentation that definitely made me... More

Service was excellent. We had the bruleed foie gras which was good, but the unprocessed, seared foie gras is what we were looking forward to. I was surprised that it was not offered on the menu as an alternative to the bruleed foie gras. I had the Hake which was so flavorful and tender and light, with the ginger rice,... More

The restaurant is simple and elegant with a minimalist decor and an open kitchen, 5 tables facing Central Park and the rest of the tables a long counter that serves as the Bar, all with a very chic sense. We had three great appetizers and shared the aged Sirloin and it was outstanding, and our favorite, the Rhubarb Compote. The... More

Outstanding French restaurant in Trump Tower. Wait staff were on top of everything. Food was outstanding for all four (4) of us. Would go back without a doubt.

You cannot beat the $38 Prix fixe lunch which included an appetizer, entree and desert. Unfortunately the great cucumber martinis were not cheap. But the food is impeccable as is the wait staff. everything each of us had was excellent. I'll be going back.

We have had the good fortune of staying at the Trump at Columbus Circle on several occasions and have enjoyed many a good meal at both Jean Georges and Nougatine. But tonight was quite frankly, a travesty. The food was very good and, considering its reputation and its price point, I would expect nothing less. But the pace of the... More

We ordered the prix fixed lunch. It caters to almost all different types of diets .The presentation of the meal was beautiful and delicious to eat. Service was amazing as usual and very attentive to small details . I first made my reservation on line for the terrace but the restaurant was unable to accommodate it but we had a... More

Inventive with refreshing flavours. Perfect portion sizes. Would recommend the prix fixe lunch. Attentive staff. Booked in advance and requested a seat by the window as it was sunny outside but the restaurant could not accommodate for this and instead got tucked away in a corner. This however did not prevent us from enjoying the meal. The staff could be... More
