Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.

Great food, great setting

We have eaten at Jean Georges formal dining previously, and loved it. On our next trip to NYC, we opted to make reservations at the terrace for a more casual feel. The food was high standard, and wait staff was prompt, and efficient after telling them we had a 2pm show afterwards. Loved dining... read more

Our group of 2 couples visited Nougatine for Friday evening dinner on the last day of the most recent Restaurant Week in NYC. We all enjoyed the experience very much. Each of the 3 courses had two choices. Each couple ordered one of each selection, so we could sample both of them. The first course was a choice of tomato... More

We had a priced fixed lunch on Monday, August 24,2015. The service was fantastic. I had the Tuna tartare appetizer and the meatball and pasta entree, with the chocolate cake dessert. It was a very nice experience. I can't wait to,go back.

I was recommended this restaurant by a cleanup and it didn't disappoint. I had the tomatoes with a vinegar dressing which was delicious, my husband had shrimp then we had salmon which was delicious and the portions are a good size. The chocolate fondant should not be missed as it's well balanced and full of oozing chocolate. The service was... More

Ate the food in my suite at the Trump International, but the food was off the Nougatine menu and was very good (egg caviar, roasted Maine lobster, foie gras brûlée, etc...)

My wife and i ate there twice during restaurant week, one lunch and one dinner (jean Georges is my favourite place in NY so I had to try this one as well) and we got two very different experiences. Lunch: - The food was perfect, for the two of us and the chocolate cake was insanely good. only little minor,... More

Watermelon and goat cheese salad was one of the most refreshing appetizers I've had in a long time. Fried calamari was also delicious. For the main course, both the sauteed black sea bass and grilled beef tenderloin were perfectly prepared and cooked. Warm chocolate cake for dessert was positively scrumptuous! I wish I could have dined there a couple more... More

Visited Nougatine for Dinner last month while visiting the city and was impressed by the elegance and the views. The wait staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for my Mom with a very strict allergy diet. The food was delicious top to bottom. The rigatoni and meatballs were unbelievably succulent and rich. The ribeye steak was truly a slice... More
