Description: Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.

We stayed at the Trump. We came back to the hotel cold and wet but housekeeping was in our room. So we decided to have a few drinks and eat at Jean Georges. We sat at the bar. It was small and crowded. The gentleman next to me was constantly bumping me because there simply wasn't enough room, and my... More

This was my second time to The Nougatine. The first time was last July with my daughter. This time I went for a special meal with my husband, while the kids (teens/young adults) went to the MET. Both times I had made early reservations and requested a park-side window seat. The first time, my daughter and I had a wonderful... More

I've been to Nougatine a dozen times over the past few years for lunch with girlfriends and I've always ordered the pre-fix option. This time I was with a man and we were more dressed up than usual. While I have always had a pleasant and delicious meal here, this time was even more so. This was the first time... More

The lunch menu for $ 39 includes 3 courses. You choose from four starters four main courses and two desserts. They serve a fine crusty bread and the very finest of wines by the glass. The service is attentive and loving. The open kitchen makes a very clean impression. Impressed by this lovely place and we returned the next day.... More

I had dinner at Nougatine with family and we all agreed we would come back. The three of us ordered three different appetizers and passed them around after eating one third of each. The foie gras brule was spectacular, the fennel salad was good, and one of us loved the tuna tartare. As for the mains, the prosciutto-wrapped pork chop... More

Loved this lunch, especially for $38. Drinks cost more! I has the shrimp salad, meat balls and chocolate cake. All were fantastic. Well with going if you can get a table!

Staff super attentive. Stopped here for lunch on our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Waited at the bar since we were early. Young staff, but knowledgeable. Loved all the "old' drinks on the bar menu. Also a huge wine selection in all price ranges. You can order a taste a glass or a bottle. Ordered a Lime Ricky. Was we made and... More
