Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with a great bar. Sat at the bar waiting to be seated and had wonderfully prepared drinks. The Hendrix Gin Martini is not to be missed!!! Also a great Ginger Margarita and Gin Tonic The Menu was very varied and different and the wine list is INCREDIBLE!!!!!. For appetizers: Peekytoe Crab Cake Celeriac Remoulade, Pink Grapefruit, and... Great service, ambience and exceptional food! We ate at Nougatine following the snow storm when we had to cancel as they closed - worth the effort to book again, my partner said "one of the best meals in the last ten years" and he is picky!

It is an excellent restaurant, the lower-priced brother of Jean Georges. We had the restaurant week menu (which was excellent) but the regular menu looked very good too. The only reasons I'm not giving five stars is because at the beginning service was very slow (though good and attentive). All the rest, 5 stars for sure. I'd come back for... More

I have been to both Jean-Georges and Nougatine many times and they are both consistently excellent. We enjoyed the more casual menu in the formal dining room as all bets were off when Jonas dropped record snowfall. We initially felt a bit rushed, but that was cleared up after we mentioned it. And the jacket policy was set aside as... More

We had lunch here at the height of the blizzard on Saturday. Despite making a reservation some weeks ago, we were walked past empty tables to a space at the very back of the restaurant, immediately next to the waiter prep area. Mind you, on observation we noticed the other tables for two were placed at elbow distance to their... More

We fought our way through the blizzard to have lunch here. Everything was fine but nothing was special. The tasting lunch was reasonable value at $38. Service was professional but there was no welcome or warmth. Perhaps the snow and concerns about the weather dulled the service.

We were staying in the trump international hotel so went for breakfast a few times but I would recommend this even if you aren't staying. Food is really good and reasonably priced. Lots of options and great service.

would give nougatine 5 star if not for one server who ruined the night for me. As an old Chinese saying goes, 'one small mouse dropping is enough to spoil a delicious pot of porridge'. Went with 3 friends for restaurant week dinner. As I was ready to order drink, holding my drink menu trying to point my choice on... More

just finished a really nice American breakfast and for $34 a real bargain for a luxury hotel restaurant. Potatoes were light and eggs over hard tasted wonderful. Service was prompt and continual. Much better than recent breakfasts in Paris at five star hotel and half the price.
