Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.

Typical Jean Georges

Been here a few times with friends. The service has been sliding a bit. They seem to rush you more. Great food. Expensive, but I think the quality of the food and the ambiance makes it worth it. The wine list will break the bank! lol

Went with a friend who enjoys fine dining. Though the bar was packed when I arrived I was kindly asked what I might like to drink by a server passing through, which has yet to happen anywhere else I have been and immediately relieved my anxiety of attempting to get the bartenders attention. The space was perfectly appointed, elevated yet... More

Nougatine has really good food, especially for lunch. The trick is to get the food that you actually ordered served to you before the day is over. Because this restaurant is beautiful, and close to my office, I used to routinely take clients there for lunch. It has a reasonable prix fixe lunch which made the value great considering how... Having had the pleasure of dining at Jean Georges flag ship, we felt that it would only be right to try his more casual Nougatine which is attached to Jean Georges in the Trump hotel by Central park. I can honestly say that the flag ship is the best restaurant that I have ever been to. Nougatine was everything I... More

First, Julian, restaurant manager was amazing. Very informative. I appreciate the time he took to speak to us about the restaurant and his role as manager. The staff that served us were professional beyond all expectation and catered to all our needs. The food was exquisite. We are in the seafood business and can i tell you that the tuna... More

The 'casual' side of Jean Georges still feels like a special place. Service is excellent, the menu is very interesting with plenty of options, and the atmosphere let's you know you're in a noteworthy space. I had the crab cake appetizer with grapefruit and a parsley oil. It was light, crispy and wonderful. My main dish was veal milanese over... More

We requested a window table for a view of the park when we made our reservation. That wasn't mentioned when we checked in. OK so they moved us to the middle of the restaurant we could live with that. Lots of wait staff running around but not attentive to the customers had to almost grab someone to get there attention.... More

Superb service and high quality food. Great presentation. The prix fixe menu was a great value - our $38/each meal was probably valued at $70 otherwise given we ordered seafood dishes.

We had the fixed price lunch and our food was delicious. I had the roast fennel salad and it was wipe the plate yummy. I then had the chicken dish which is served with carrots. The carrots were out of this world. And then to top it off I had the warm chocolate cake, very, very good. I had only... More
