Just like you see on TV. The food was great. A rueben sandwich to die for, hold the pickle. The missus had a club sandwich she couldn't finish.

Ate here before a concert at Madison Square Garden (it is across the street). Food was good, service was friendly, enjoyable atmosphere, price was reasonable.

Maybe it's newly renovated, but this is not the dive of some reviews. Very nice diner decor and NYC murals. Nice omelettes with either potatoes or grits (in NYC for Pete's sake). Attentive, pleasant service. Reasonable prices.

The Tick Tock Diner is attached to the hotel where we stayed so was very convenient for us. We ended up eating breakfast here twice and dinner once. The food was good and very fast in arriving. The portion size was large and the staff efficient and friendly. We did find that the same type/quality of food in a nice... More

The waitress ruined our experience. She paid little attention to us although we were there for over an hour during the early dinner hour. We had to beg for more water and then it took her five minutes to bring it. Never came back to fill it up again despite the glasses sitting at the edge of the table. She... More

I ate here twice, out of convenience as my hotel was next door/attached. Sloppy, sloppy service. Food almost thrown in front of you. I refused a dirty ( lip-marked) glass. Sticky, roughly-cleaned tables etc. Food is absolutely, very ordinary. A place to ward off hunger; nothing more really. Expensive, given the quality of the food and drink.

Relatively cheap food (I'm a foreigner so for me the price is a little high,) with a nice variety of options. The highs on this place... open 24 hours. Always nice getting to this place when running out of options; specially when it was raining or simply cold outside. I lived in the New Yorker for a year, so you... More
