Very good food and friendly staff

We had a BBQ Hamburger, a bis Salad and Spinach Ravioli, ordered one glass of Orange fresh fruit juice and Pinapple fresh fruit. The meal was very good, but when we ordered the fresh fruit juice the staff said there is no one fresh fruit. 5 minutes later she told us there is no one Pineapple juice... read more

We all got the pancakes and they were delicious! chocolate chip, banana, and plain pancakes all disappeared quickly even though they were huge. Great place for breakfast with fast and friendly service.

Attached to the New Yorker Hotel but not exclusive to the hotel guests. Does a variety of breakfast/lunch items. Staff are friendly and helpful. We visited here on 3 occasions during our visit to NYC in June 2015, not far from Penn Station, Maddison square or Macy's and literally next door to the underground which is handy if the weather... The food is fantastic and the selection is varied and everything we tried was very good. We ate there five mornings in a row and were never tempted to look for another breakfast place. Steve, our waiter several mornings, was a true gem with his dry wit and good advice. Keep living the dream, Steve!

A nice little diner, the food is not outstanding, but the breakfasts are very good. The staff are brilliant and very quick and efficient. Friendly atmosphere and clearly popular with the locals, you might have to wait for a table, but do it it's worth it.

The restaurant venue is open, light and nicely decorated. I especially like the hanging tea pot. Service is excellent! Someone greeted me. Someone else aited on me. And more than one server checked.on me but NOT to the point of being annoying. I only ate the hummus plate with a glass of wine but it was good. Fresh vegetables and... More

I always make a point of coming here for breakfast at least once during a trip to NYC. They have had a facelift since my last visit a couple of years ago but the food is still great (although portions a little smaller than I remember).

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
