Ok food for breakfast, but nothing special. Quick service and pleasant waitress. Convenient as this restaurant was located off lobby in our hotel.

The best breakfast anytime you walk in the door. Place was very busy but we were seated right away. Portions were good size and the prices were fair for the area. On a windy NY day you can cut through the New Yorker Hotel. Get the breakfast burger and there will be no need to eat until dinner. Great server... More

Stayed at the New Yorker hotel back in 2011 and used the Tick Tock for breakfast each day. Returning last week for a family holiday with my husband, daughter and my parents we were anxious to visit again. This is a tricky review to write really as it had just undergone quite a big refurbishment, which looks fab, bits were... More

Quick friendly service, but it does get very busy around 8am. The menu is large with all the usual breakfast favourites, plus burgers for a lighter more informal meals. It is in the process of being refurbished and enlarged.

I go to the Tic Tock just about every time I visit New York. I have never had bad food. The breakfast is the best. The service is sometimes a little inattentive, however it is overall a good experience.

We went here for breakfast one morning. It was very busy and we had a short wait, but the service and food was really good. It's a short walk from the Hotel Penn and right next door to Thr New Yorker Hotel. Typical diner atmosphere with good food.

Wanted to eat at a traditional diner for breakfast so stumbled across Tick Tock. The place was busy with locals which I think is a sign of a good place. Menu wasn't as big as I thought but still enough to choose from for breakfast. The portions are really good and after having a breakfast burger we never needed to... More

unfortunately hadn't time to check most recent review - specially sought out diner as it was on our to- do list didn't realise until seated that it is now an Italian trattoria - with the tick tock sign out the front upon enquiry informed that the diner would return in next couple of weeks - we were starving - ordered...
