Consistently Good

This is a gem in New York. The menu is full of variety, the food is consistently good, staff are efficient and the atmosphere is relaxed.

The place is nice but the service is slow and sometimes none existent. I went there after a concert for dinner. The food was pretty good but a family left because they were not attended to. They waited 10 minutes without being asked what they wanted.

We have just come back from a week in NY and ate here for Four of the mornings for Breakfast/Brunch. Food is very nice, they do a lovely Italian Omlette and Eggs Benedict. Service is very efficient. It is a very typical American diner and good value with free Coffee top ups.

We were staying at the Wyndham New Yorker hotel, attached to Tick Tock and thought we'd give it a go, as we'd heard good things about it. I had the Nutella and banana French toast, which was great! And my partner ate a veggie omelette and home fries. Service was quite speedy and efficient but without a smile or any... More

Went here for breakfast. Reasonable price and great service! Huge selection for breakfast and will definitely go back next time we visit NYC! Really close to Madison square gardens!

We went here on our first morning as we were staying in the Wyndham New Yorker which is next door. It's in a great location as it's in Midtown and close to Penn Station and the Port Authority subway. The food is good, but it isn't the cheapest, for 2 adults and a 3 year old with 2 juices and... More

Popped in for breakfast and late night cheesecake after getting to see a Knicks game. Relaxed, easy going, good food and service. Everything you could want and need from a diner.

The diner looks and feels just like your typical diner but it is attached to the New Yorker Hotel and is convenient to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. It's a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. I have not tried their dinner menu as yet but if it is as good as the morning /afternoon meals then it... More

The Tick Tock is convenient if you are staying at The New Yorker. Service was quite fast for breakfast and the food good (though I prefer my hash browns to be brown). Prices are quite reasonable for NYC.

We ate here every morning of our trip to NYC and it never disappointed. Great staff - always helping us navigate the city and the menu too! The food was delicious and it had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend for families!!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
