Great food,great atmosphere

The restaurant is charming! Many comfort food dishes on the menu with their own flare to them. Service was attentive and friendly. Easy walk to the theatre district. The owners Scott and Bruce are great guys. I recommend it highly.

We had a reservation for 12:30 and much like other reviewers warned they sat us late and crammed us in. We were seated 20 minutes late and placed at a table the hostess literally threw together against a wall in order to accommodate us. With no space for the waiter to even properly address us we decided to stay and... More

Took a family there for dinner recently. I wanted to really like this restaurant ! Yet, the service was spotty, the restaurant is very noisy, and the food mediocre, including some meals that we detected ingredients in the dishes that were not listed on their description on the menu. There is a bar there and it is very small and... More

We stopped in for dinner before a show and this was one of the only places available without a reservation. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and there was a wide choice of dinner options. However the service was poor. They used the team approach to servicing the table but it ended up a mess because no one took responsibility for... More

Thanks for excellent abielus, Dear Friends on TripAdvisor! This was a friendly place in warm colors. Fresh pink roses!😄 service was extremely friendly and fast. Menu SO interesting we need to get back there ASAP. Crab cake and lobster risotto were the favorites. Champagne selection was unexpectedly good!

This is a 'go to' restaurant when we have friends in town for a visit. They are always busy & the food is always good. The staff is cute & friendly and the ambiance is fun & festive. The only issue is that it has gotten pretty pricey over the years like it's a Michelin star restaurant, which it is... More

My daughter & I had tickets for the Marlo Thomas show at the West Side Theater on W. 43rd St. & had lunch at 44 & X. The food was delicious, the wait staff very accommodating, and just a lovely place to dine. It's a small place so reservations are recommended.

Classics NYC - very chic and well done in every way. Hard not to return for a second spin. Cocktails were so generous we couldn't order any wine. Food was right on the mark. Owner is there to manage things. Great !!!

The wait staff are uber efficient and super friendly. We had a narrow window for dinner before a show and our waiter smoothly served us our dinners and desserts. No stress, plenty of laughs. Food was tasty and plenty of variety to satisfy a wide range of interests at our table. Short walk after to our show. One of the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
