Great food, great drinks, great fun.

Ate in Benihana whilst in NYC. Loved it, everything about it, the cocktails, the food, the atmosphere. It was fantastic. Defo a must whilst in the Big Apple.

I have not been to Benihana in years, and after last night I realized that I am not missing much. The food was good, but the service was HORRIBLE. We were late for our reservation but you can expect that trying to get through the city. So we had to wait for a table. No problem we went to the... More

Decided to have lunch at Benihana with a colleague. We chose to go upstairs and try the Hibachi instead of eating plated dishes downstairs. It has been two year since I had Hibachi and I was excited to see the chef toss and turn the ingredients for our meal as we watched, then transfix them into something delicious. That was... More

A restaurant chain that has been growing since the late 60's. The ambience was fantastic and the chef's show was great. A good spot to go for lunch or dinner. Efficient service.

Pre booked from the UK as we were a party of 8 travelling out for Xmas. We had a private room allocated at no extra charge and had a great evening. The attending female staff were very attentive and then the star of the show arrived the chef Roy(Oh Yeah) his catchphrase. Cooked a truly wonderful meal of mixed dishes... More

An expensive menu, however the food was just okay - not to the value of the cost. The apple punch cocktail was nice - but little alcohol even though it indicated it was likely to have a few shots - odd. The sushi rolls were the best things about the food - made fresh by a good chef. The temperature... More

I wasn't expecting a 5 star dining experience but the visit definitely surprised me. The food was better than I remembered (though they LOVE salt!!!) but the definite CONS - the service!!! and the show!!! We decided to take our 5-year old there for Christmas Day (pre Rock Center tree visit) and were very underwhelmed by the 'show'. I was... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
