34th St, easy to swing by and American portions. Pancakes are good, corned beef hash is good, salads are huge, meatball sandwich is epic, cheesecake is amazing..... you get the picture. And it never shuts!

this restaurant is located close tot the New Yorker hotel which is where we were staying. We preferred this to the onsite diner at the hotel. It was busy but quiet and the staff were excellent. Food was good, reasonably priced and quick service. We ate here three days in a row as it was a good start to the... More

They are always so quick with serving our meals. Wonderful staff and the food is good too. My son especially enjoys the Best Meatloaf ever.

I've only ever eaten here once & it was for a Saturday brunch. Difficult to screw up eggs and bacon, so it was more than adequate. I order takeout from here all the time though. They are quick, good portions, & tasty. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars because I can't, in good conscience, give a diner 4... More

We ate at the Skylight Diner during our recent visit to NYC and found this to be a good place spot for breakfast for those wanting to experience a classic American diner during their visit to the city. For breakfast we had #6 Pancakes with sausage ($8.95) that was ok. Stack of three pancakes, two made well, one undercooked and... More

Not a bad little diner, decent value too. It's a classic little diner, but the decor felt a little cold. Slightly odd thing to say, but classic diners normally have a more homely feel and this place lacked it a bit. Service was good though and food wasn't bad either.

After reading the TripAdvisor reviews of this place, I thought I'd give it a try for a late-morning Saturday breakfast. I was pretty disappointed. I had the Italian omelette (Italian suasage, peppers, Provolone, onions), and it was only okay: a bit overcooked and underseasoned, and the sausage was oddly flavorless. (Flavorless Italian sausage? How do you even do that?) The... More

I ordered the Greek Wrap and it was mouth wateringly good. A true old style diner in the middle on Manhatten. The fries were a little cold when they were served.

This diner had all the foods you'd expect a good one to have. We had a late breakfast. One got the special house omelet that had smoked salmon in it. It came with homemade hash brown potatoes and choice of white, wheat or rye toast and jelly. Another got scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, hash browns and toast and another got... More
