Delicious tasting menu with a terrific Sommelier always makes for a terrific evening. Couple that with spectacular views, what more could you ask for? Don't forget your wallet, you do get what you pay for :)

We've had a reservation earlier this month. Luckily we've got a window table which was pretty stunning sitting there and just enjoying the views. We've had a 3-course dinner - especially the Wagyu Beef was very good. Unfortunately they messed it up a little bit with some serves as my wife hasn't been able to eat raw meet that time.... More

I have never experienced such bad service in a place that purports to be part of a five star establishment. I had prebooked a table for one and had specified I would like to be seated by the window. As I was on my own, I was not given a window table despite the fact that several tables remained empty... More

What a mediocre and bad experience… It is impossible to like this place. The bar is like The Addams Family bar. The barman was an ogre, no smile, bad vibe, throwing the napkins at us hating everything and everyone. Families in the couch as if they are waiting in the lobby to get their rooms. Children running between the tables.... More

We had the tasting menu without combined wines. 150 dollars/p. The waguy beef was really good. Everything else of the tasting was not. Beatiful restaurant, excellent view on the 35th floor but the food that we had was not excellent, it was okey, at best. Great winelist, we had a nice barolo. Great romantic setting.

Recently visited NYC and it was my partners birthday. I emailed ahead for a good view due to the special occasion. The food was AMAZING can not fault it at all. They didn't have a window seat as that was reserved for hotel guests but we still had a great table and they gave a small birthday cake and candle... More

This was our second reservation at Asiate and based on our first experience, albeit two years ago, we were very much looking forward to our Saturday brunch. My wife has a gluten free diet and on our last visit she received adjusted dishes clearly prepared specifically for her diet. On arrival our waiter said he was aware of my wife's... More

The view is espectacular... but, food and service were quite average considering that you must receive for what you pay for. we were a party of 11 people, almost no one at the restaurant, and nevertheless the service was very slow. We had to ask for food and beverages more than once at the same waiter, they were hurring us... More

Right at Columbus Circle, overlooking Central Park, this restaurant is a wonderful romantic dining experience in New York City. A little expensive, to be sure, but the food and service are excellent. If you are looking for a romantic dinner for two as a special night out, in the Big Apple, this is a great choice.
