The real deal. The top of our fine dining experiences

We booked several days out while we were visiting Manhattan. The restaurant is located on the 35th floor of the Oriental overlooking Central Park. Ask for a window table, the view is unbelievable. We ordered a bottle of wine and the three course Prix Fixe ($95pp). Here is a link to the menu... read more

Great business lunch choice; excellent value at lunch with the two-course express menu. Service is outstanding, and the food and presentation is highly creative. Endorse without hesitation- take a walk through the Fordham law school sculpture garden and Lincoln Center Plaza after.

Had a business breakfast which was very good. Coupled with the fantastic views from the 35th floor over-looking central park makes this a great spot for all occasions.

Not usually a fan of hotel based restaurants but this restaurant attracts a lot of good feedback so we thought we'd have dinner there on our final night. Entree consisted of truffle risotto and wow, what flavours, simply stunning. Main course and neither of us could go past the Waygu beef - again, a stunning dish, with well-matches wines. Ordinarily... More

I had the 3 course brunch with the amuse-bouche to start. Beautiful presentation and each was perfection. I had the Neo Fresca which was nicely balanced and not overly-sweet (which I hate!). I had the mixed greens, the duck and waffles, and a chocolate dessert that is no longer on the menu. My date had the soft shell crab. I... More

The main thing is the view on Manhattan and the Central park. The food is very tasty and the service is exceptional. It is not the best haute cuisine restaurant that i have visited but it is quite good though a bit overpriced.

Probably the best restaraunt I have ate in New York City so far. The scallops were amazing, the wagyu beef was the best steak I have ever had the chance to eat in my entire life, and the atmosphere, especially the view, was apsolutely astounding. I will certainly be returning very soon.

This restaurant has a great location, at Columbus Circle, just in from of Central Park. Its sophisticate restaurant, with asiatic food. The vine list is also great. Serves is excellent. Make an reservation before, as in many places n NYC. Great for date.

As other diners have stated, I walked in with an expectation to be "wowed". While we weren't "wowed", we did find the meal to be good. The staff was friendly and attentive, going so far as to find me an extra shawl when my husband told them the restaurant was so cold that I was shivering. The food sounded as... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
