Great place to go to see and be seen but only eat at the bar section or so called open air section. The food is not the reason why you go there BUT YOU betterr be willing to pay the price to see and be seen!!!!

You will never find Bice at 7 East 54th St. in NYC. It doesn't exist. Its website exists with a menu and all. However, I walked passed it 3 times and never saw the name Bice. I finally called the restaurant and explained my dilemma and a very nice young woman gave me directions to 7 East 54th. I stood... More

I was meeting a friend for dinner the other night, and left the decision of where to go to her. She suggested "Bice", which surprised me because I had read that it had closed. We called, and found that it had reopened just the night before, in it's original NYC spot, with its original owner, so we decided to try... More

or for a quiet afternoon capuccino. Busy and excellent Italian restaurant. Business lunches or dinners - a little noisy inside but the front is a wonderful place to be in the summer.

I happened to be in NYC and had lunch on the day this place was closing to supposedly re-open under new mgmgnt/owner. I always enjoyed going to the bar first to chat with Heidi who was there for 20 years, a real assset to the rest. The original owners were friendly and the food was always authentic Italian. The rest... More

We booked for the gala dinner on New Year's Eve and had a splendid meal. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere. We pre-booked from the UK by email and were given plenty of information about menus and choices. Splendid service.

We were in New York for my son's engagement so we had booked and received confirmation online for a celebratory meal and on arrival they were closed! Fortunately the restaurant next door was lovely!

Bice is simply good fun. Simple food - not on the same level as Cipriani - but very easy to eat accompanied by an easy to drink Chianti .selected from a small but diverse and inexpensive wine list Great Service - they've had much the same staff for manty years. And always a very warm welcome.
