It was recommended by our concierge at The Ritz-Carlton, Central Park. Tiny place, you can almost miss it, but once we got there, they had already reserved a table for us by the window. Staff was very friendly and service was prompt. Our food was very, very good. The menu is a bi overwhelming (as in too many options), but... More

We were lucky to come across Topaz Thai thanks to Yelp! It did not disappoint. We entered and could barely fit in the doorway because the restaurant was so crowded, but then a host escorted us, along with two other groups, next door to their other dining room. This one was actually even nicer with great ambiance. The food came... More

This restaurant was close to our hotel and we went their twice during our stay. Th food and the quanity were both excellent. very quick service. for people not used to NYC, i must warn you that the tables are placed too close for comfort. But other than that, it was amazing.

Enjoyed lunch here after a couple of hours of biking through Central Park. Great priced lunch specials and fresh tasting Thai food. Shared the pad thai, green curry and pineapple rice. There are two separate restaurant areas but one entrance. The restaurant on the right is more dated that the one on the left but both offer the same menu.

We went here on the recommendation of a friend, and we were pleasantly surprised! It's a hidden place in Midtown, and while the decor isn't anything to brag about, the food and service were great and the prices were VERY reasonable.

This was our last night in New York and the last night of our holiday. We had tried to book but we had gotten the wrong street and ran out of time. We go to the restaurant around 8.30pm on the 18th May 2014. It was very busy but they had an over flow restaurant which some of us were... More

After a long day of walking around NYC we tried this restaurant which was close to our hotel, and we enjoyed a great meal. We had a thai curry with beef and a dish with beef and sauteed vegetables. Both were delicious, and prices very reasonable! The decoration of the place is not the most modern, but we did not... More

Per usual, found on T.A. close to the hotel. Over all, very good. The pluses: the food, drink and price. Minuses: loud and cramped quarters, but this is New York. So, went with a couple appetizers, chicken satay (basic) and winter shrimps (bacon wrapped shrimp with a Thai chili sauce, YES!) and the staples on Pad Thai and Drunkin' noodles.... More

We have been coming to Topaz when we are in NYC for 10 years and it is always good. The service is efficient but not rushed. The food is always good. We know it as a place we can depend upon without spending a lot of money.

The service is very nice and the food is good. The low price makes it as a good value for money deal. They serve shrimps chips as appetizer with excellent sauce. The Pad-Thai dish was very good, not too spicy and full of seafood.
