However, Taboon has given me a new reason to cross the border into this less populated area. Dined with friends mid-December 2007 - party of 6. We ordered a variety of meze and yes, the portions were small. Taste more than compensated for the portion size. Consistently very good. A broad mix of Middle Eastern food and wine that is distinctive without being weird. Mos of the food is very hearty. Taboon means oven Arabic and the best dishes seem to the ones that come from the namesake item. This restaurant is particularly convenient if you are going to a Broadway show. more
