Across the street from The Manhattan Club

Please see my review of The Manhattan Club as that will help you understand what a jewel the Redeye Grill is. My wife and I were staying at The Manhattan Club, hating every minute of it and wanted to go somewhere nearby for lunch. The Redeye Grill is across the street and didn't disappoint. The... read more

This looked great, but for the price the food did not live up to my expectations. Most particularly the vegetables, the cauliflower cheese was over cooked, the asparagus had been roasted to destruction and the beens, although cooked al dente were very stringy. The wine was in my view overpriced. The service was grossly over attentive, but inefficient, i.e. leaning... More

There for business while attending a conference. Social hour in private room. Tasty treats going down, but 6 of 15 of us had stomach trouble during the night. Middle of the summer so less inclined to believe a virus, but rather something we all ate. Since it was appetizers only passed around....something was a bit off.

We stopped here for dinner after seeing a show and were able to get right in. Our waiter was very pleasant and and knowledgeable, the staff was wonderful as well. Our food was hot, delicious and seasoned just right.

My company had our team dinner here. It was a nice place. Good ambiance. Really busy. Typical nyc crowd. Food was great. I had the Filet. I was so full once we got to desert but everyone insisted on trying the Banana Cream Pie, which they are known for, and I understand why. Amazing. I'll go back.

We always plan to eat at the Redeye when we are in town. The food is amazing and the customer service is awesome! I love the live band. They are tasteful and they make the dinner a nice experience. We are never disappointed.

My granddaughter, Sabrina, was honored with an appearance at Carnegie Hall, along with 96 middle school kids, from 39 states. Of course we were thrilled, and went to see her with her mom, Maria, her aunt, uncle and cousin. Her father, unfortunately, was out of town on business. So her uncle (my eldest son) and his beautiful wife, hosted a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
