We came here on Sunday before a concert at Carnegie Hall. We were pleasantly entertained at the Bar by Jermony. The food was good and served with aplomb and a friendly manner, and the drinks Champagne (by the glass) Veuve Clicquot was delightful. The decor was pleasing as well, the music however was a trifle loud and a bit jarring... More

We had dinner last Saturday and it was very good however the prices are typical NYC steakhouse so expect to pay upwards of $40 for each dinner and it is ala carte - I gave it a very good overall rating although the service was average and the value was as well. Everyone had the pretzel bread and it was... More

My family and I went to The Redeye Grill a few days after Christmas to celebrate my birthday and just be with family. The place was packed so I was so excited for this meal. There were 13 of us and at least half of us were disappointed with our meals. You would expect that by the prices of the... More

The food was not anything special, just OK. The price of the food did not out weight the taste. Service was very slow. I was not completely disappointed because I have had worse, but I would not go back.

One of the problems with restaurants in New York City is the crowd and the noise. On a rainy night, I walked into this restaurant and I was able to get a beautiful table without a reservation. The hostess was very friendly and the waiter was excellent. The menu had a very good selection and the food was outstanding, particularly... More

One of our favorite New York restaurants. The excellent surroundings and outstanding service are only matched by the wonderful menu. The seafood offerings are superb.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in NYC, and I would eat here a couple of times a year. Sadly, the last three times I have eaten at the Redeye both my wife and I have walked away saying "not bad, but certainly not what it used to be". We miss the Dancing Shrimp appetizer (which use to be... More

We have passed by the Redeye Grill numerous times on visits to New York but this was our first dining experience at the restaurant. The menu has a generous selection of meat and seafood and the tables were spacious for our party of six. That was the good news. Once our orders were placed and drinks were served, appetizers arrived... More
