Our last night in the Big Apple... We were hungry and went here. It doesn't look fancy or so from the street. But when we entered... what a place. The service were superb, the food also. We left with a big smile. Will certanly return and enjoy another dinner here.

My husband and I go to Picholine each and every time we go to the ballet which is very often! We have been going to Picholine for many years. The food is superb, varied and original. My personal favorite is the risotto--just can't be beat but they are really known for their unique game preparations. There are many options to... More

Enter into a cozy bar and proceed into the first room with high ceilings. Choose this room as the second has low ceilings and although nicely decorated, the first room is much nicer. Very polished waitstaff. When they change the tablecloth, they actually use a hot iron and press the tablecloth. Beautiful place settings. The price fixe is $105. for... More

Very upscale and elegant impeccable service with outstanding food. Quite expensive so reserve for a special occasion such as an anniversary or wedding. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it lived up to a memorable dinner experience. We both had the 3-course meal and so yourself a favor and let them pair the wine with your food, they hit... More

I had a dinner with my wife and we ordered 5-Course Tasting Menu with 135USD p.p. The meals were actually delicious and, especially, I loved the Foie Gras for its presentation as well as taste and Rib Eye Steak. In this course, we could select either of cheese selection or dessert. Both of us chose the option of cheese, and... More

Our favorite NYC restaurant, just across the street from Lincoln Center. The staff goes out of its way to help you enjoy a perfect evening in a quiet, lovely, delightful in every way restaurant. Perfect wine pairings, elegant and creative cuisine. A special occasion destination, great for a romantic dinner or a celebration.

We couldn't find any other restaurant for a saturday night last minute dinner with clients. All our favourites were booked, and, after calling and receiving an assurance that we could order a la carte, instead of the 5 course dinner, we decided on Picholine, a restaurant we used to patronize years ago. The bill was just under $1000 for 4... More

I can't think of a better way to set the stage for an event at Lincoln Center than to first have dinner at Picholine. The food, service and atmosphere are outstanding. The staff receives special mention as they are extremely accommodating and friendly.

My husband and I were in New York for the opera that night and unfortunately, it happened to be Valentine's Day, when it is extremely difficult to get a dinner reservation in New York. I had to sign a contract several days in advance committing to $235 per person minimum for a 5 course dinner, not including drinks or gratuity.... More

We were fortunate to have scored the chef's table when we made our reservation, and that in itself was a superb experience. But the food was absolutely incredible. We were served course after course of artistic, fresh, and exquisite dishes including chicken with foie gras (sous vide then deep fried!), hamachi as fresh as the ocean, tagliatelle with truffles, and...
