I've never imagined such a beautiful place, it's truly something straight from a storybook. This lovely quaint Michelin restaurant serves the finest caviar and champagne.... And exquisite meals. I have yet to dine beyond the caviars, as I would still rather indulge in the caviar and champagne. I see no other reason to feast on anything else.....

Inside is gorgeous white and silver decor with a romantic ambiance. The staff was very knowledgable and attentive. I had a sampling of three different caviars, which all were superb. I also tried the blue fin tuna and the beef carpaccio, both were out of this world delicious!! I cannot wait to go back for more!

When I lived in NYC, this was one of my favorite places to go. Now I'm far away but can still experience their wonderful food thanks to the overnight delivery. Expensive it may be, but you get what you pay for. The pairings gift bag comes with everything you need for a little luxurious treat. if you are in NYC,... More

This place is perfect for a romantic (and expensive) meal. Located above Madison Avenue, the people watching is great. The room is small and cozy with a great design element. The caviar, vodka, champagne and wine selections are amazing. Definitely recommend.

We stumbled across this restaurant in search of Smoked Salmon & Champagne, but were delighted to top it with caviar and champagne. The service is impeccable & the dining room utterly sumptuous. Very friendly & helpful waiter helped us navigate the extensive menu & choices of caviar, without making us feel awkward (which could have been easy in an upscale... More

From the warm greeting upon entry, to the warm madeleines served as the last course of our meal, Caviar Russe is exemplary. The staff is professional but not stuffy. The menu is sophisticated but not overbearing. And the caviar (we had the signature "distinction" sampling) was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere of this gem of a restaurant is... More

Being a New Yorker and having dined at the best restaurants in the whole world, this is the by far the worse dining experienced I have ever experienced. The caviar itself is OK, but you can never really go wrong with caviar. It is the atrocious service and the manager's attitude that sets this place apart. We had a mishap... More

Champagne riches and caviar dreams. Some of us are old enough to remember live so the rich and famous with Robin Leach. Step into the small and elegant loft-like dining area of Caviar Russe for a taste of elegance. We went there for lunch on the Sunday of our mad dining weekend (the third Michelin starred restaurant we'd been to... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
