Perfect location, never disappoints.

This lovely restaurant has an eclectic and varied menu with several great non-meat choices. The dining area had good atmosphere but is a bit tight, especially for waiters navigating aisles and for diners heading for the restrooms. This restaurant is invariably jampacked just before curtain at the various Lincoln Center venues. Service can be somewhat erratic during those periods. Food quality is also somewhat erratic ranging from A bit below average to someone above average. Location, location, location is what this restaurant offers and of course offers it very very well.

The first time I had Osso Bucco it was at Cafe Fiorello and it was a revelation. The meat was tender and delicious, served with a creamy saffron risotto, and they included a marrow spoon. That was a dozen years ago. The other night I ordered the osso bucco and it was stringy and not tender enough. The marrow was... More

great location and nice old world Italian decor. Seated in the main dining room where they bunch round tables in the middle so servers can only use two paths at the sides. We were seated next to the narrow side path leading to the kitchen where we were bumped into and watched servers bump into each other and other customers.... More

This place could be great. It is located just across from Lincoln Center making it ideal for pre- or post- performance meals. Indeed that proximity is what prompts us, every few years to give it a try. And it is a spacious, comfortable restaurant with pleasant and helpful staff. Only one problem -- the food is below par in our... More

The food was terrific! There were 3 of us for dinner and no one was disappointed. This included the appetizers as well as the main courses. I had the chicken pepperoni parm and loved it. More than I could finish but I did anyway! Service was outstanding from the minute we walked in. Make a reservation because the line was... More

We used to come here often but the food quality seems to have slipped. Pizza Carbonara was good $22 but the selection of five anti pasta were not up to the usual standard. Artichoke roman was dull, Tuscan beans so so as was the eggplant. Service is still cheerful but somehow standards have declined. Sad

We loved the food here. Our waiter was very personable. The pizza is thin and crispy and delicious. The ravioli was yummy, fresh and good. Near Lincoln Center. We will go back again soon when we are in NYC!

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel. Not sure why they did. The food was, well, ordinary. The pizza was average, my seafood risotto was average.... The service was average (fairly attentive, we did not wait too long for our food but our water turned up as we were paying the bill). It is open late and... More
