Lovely Dinner

I visited with a co-worker on a rainy Monday night. We were warmly greeted and Brian was our server. He shared the highlights of the menu and recommended a very nice wine. We had Spaghetti Carbonara and Scallops - both dishes were amazing ( and I am a bit of a scallops snob). The atmosphere... read more

Sent back pasta dish because undercooked, not al dente as waiter claimed. The pesto was far too salty and did not taste homemade. Bill (with tip) came to over $70 for solo diner. Truly a rip-off.

A very busy restaurant, so service was a bit slow (though he tried his hardest). The maitre'd and rest of the staff were kind. We went there for the pizza and were not disappointed in the slightest. They serve bread and rolls and any other type of carb you want for free with your meal. Definitely great food and great... More

OK, the interior is old world with wood and red decor, but the food is truly disappointing and the prices are way out of line. Really, vegetarian pasta dishes pushing thirty dollars? (And believe it or not, they say there's a 30 dollar minimum). Sharing a dish (and they're too small to share) costs you ten dollars. The only thing... More

We stopped in for an early dinner after shopping all over NY in the rain. Our cell phones were dead and we needed to kill and hour or two for our 4 year old to unwind and rest a little. This isn't necessarily that kind of restaurant. Nevertheless, they treated us like family. Offering to charge our cell phones, letting... More

We expect to be bumped a bit when we eat at Cafe Fiorello's; we expect ordinary food and a noisy atmosphere. But we don't expect the waiter to reach across our table and pick up a bottle of water and spill it on my husband's head. The Lincoln Center area is problematic as far a good restaurants but Cafe Fiorello... More

This is a great place to eat - good solid Italian food and great service. They had an amazing raviolli with boar sauce and an amazing wine list. I highly recommend it.

Good food, good service, good location (across from the Lincoln Center) nice ambience and fair prices. What more can you ask for? In addition, some celebs do eat there if you are into that sort of thing.

We arrived late to the city and this was reserved by the concierge from our Hotel which was right across the street. It was greatly convenient and all the food we ate was very good. I had the monkfish special in a light tomato broth. It was tasty. The eggplant on the homemade parpadelle was excellent as was the salmon... More

We had dinner before the ballet this weekend and had never been here. It has always seemed like a tourist trap but was actually a great surprise. The food was excellent and well timed for the performance. It's a tight space but was a fun and interesting place for dinner. The arugula pear salad is awesome and the sole was... More
