Let me start off by saying, I took my mother-in-law to this restaurant for dinner before Lincoln Center for many years and we always enjoyed it!! This year we went to "celebrate her life" at Cafe Fiorello as she passed away last year!! You can imagine my surprise when I told our waiter this story and he immediately went and... More

I had brunch here last weekend. I am very fond of little pizzas, and my grilled vegetable dish was a bit oily but nice. Fresh ingredients, well served, but wow, what truly great coffee! I was cold and quite chilled, and it arrived fast. My darling waitress left the pot as well. Very attentive service. My companion enjoyed her salad,... More

The restaurant was packed with customers when we arrived 30mins before our booking. Nevertheless, the kind manager seated us 20 min later. What a surprise to sat on a table that was reserved for the Mr. Placido Domingo, a famous Spanish tenor and conductor. The atmosphere inside was like a page from an Italian movie dining scene. For main we... More

My wife and I had tickets for La Triviata at the Met this past Saturday and decided to give Cafe Fiorello a try. We knew we had picked well when I gave the address to our cab driver and he responded "Oh Cafe Fiorello, I used to work there, it's great." He was right. From their great wine list to... More

I have been here many times before, but was really disappointed on my most recent visit. Though my food was still pretty good, the service was really poor and it is so crowded by the door that it is very hard to get either in or out of the place. Our waiter largely ignored us even though we told him... More

Wonderful food, great service even though a little hectic. Their pizzas or flat breads are to die for. Love their antipasto selections, overal a great Italian Cafe that I could eat in once a week. Mangia. Highly reccomended.

This is a grand café, rather than a local diner, but with a neighbourhood feel in the middle of Manhattan. We ate here following a matinee performance of the NYC Ballet in the theatre opposite. Had made the reservation for 6.15pm, but turned up half an hour early, as it was too cold to walk around! Our table was ready... More

We selected this place due to its proximity near Lincoln Center, for dinner after a Saturday matinee there, making a 4:45 pm reservation for a family of 6 - 4 adults, 2 teens. We arrived at 4:50 pm, the place was packed, and it took 5 minutes to be seated as the theater crowd was jamming into the place in... More

We were seated at the bar, despite having a table reservation. It was more fun, and gave us a chance to view the scene and the menu choices. The food is delicious, service a little episodic, but the atmosphere is delightful and fun! A perfect dining spot before any event at Lincoln Center, right across the street. Next time, I'd... More

Do not recommend the open face lasagna - there were fennel seeds - totally disgusting like caraway seeds in a large plate with pasta that sticks to metal plate -gross meatballs. The extra mozzarella on the antipaste app - wasn't mozzarella (very soft cheese - ricotta?) the place has gone down over the last 10 years - To get squeezed... More
