I was in NY for business, and have best friends that live here. They brought me to this amazing spot. We shared many plates and glasses of wine. We had to get a second serving of the unbelievable Steak Tartar.

We always visit The Met and enjoy an opera when we visit New York and this delightful restaurant is just across the road from the Lincoln Centre. Typically Italian with a sharp NY edge. Noisy and bustling, the food is excellent. This time I had a veal chop so huge it overlapped my plate and my husband had a very... More

I went to dinner with friends for whom this Lincoln Center area restaurant is not only near their apartment but has become their favorite. They encouraged me to try the thin pizza -- it was just fine but not worth raving about. On the other hand, their signature chocolate mousse dessert was outstanding. The server is very accommodating to a... More

For the price (expensive) I expected more - outstanding food and impeccable service. The food was OK but did not stand out. The service is what impacted the experience the most. The couple in our group (of 4) that had visited several times in the past said they would not return. The bread basket was served with neither butter nor... More

This place taught me the wisdom of not trusting a 13-year-old guidebook and at least to look at the menu outside the restaurant before going in. The place is very pleasant and cozy, with excellent service. On Saturday evening it was packed. My old guidebook said it was moderately priced. Well, maybe for NY. We ordered a pizza, a dish... One of my all time favorites. Wait staff is incredible. Food is incredible. Host is so friendly. It never disappoints. Can't wait to go back.

Whenever we go to a concert or opera or ballet at Lincoln Center, our restaurant of choice -- either pre-event or afterward -- is Café Fiorello, located directly across the street from the famous LC fountain! The location is perfect, and the food -- if carefully selected -- can be terrific. Service, for the most part, is wonderful -- and... More

This place has a long history and classifies as a NY institution. We went before the ballet and the location is ideal. It was beyond packed and narrow aisles and lots of waiters make it hard to navigate. Be prepared to wait if you check your coat. Let's talk food, DON'T order the lobster shrimp Fra Diavla is is messy... More

Quite eccletic menu choices, trip around Italy. Great entrée choices, great to share. I had pasta which was probably more catered to the American taste than what you usually get in Italy.
