Try the French Toast

Good but overpriced for most items, however, the French Toast is a must try. Or you could go for the $1000 breakfast...literally.

I usually have good things to say about the in-house restaurant at Starwood hotel properties, but Norma's is an exception. Outrageous prices, mediocre food and average service combined to cause me to walk down the street for breakfast as a guest of the hotel, which should not happen. I like omelets for breakfast, with fruit and hot tea. This is... More

Had a reservation for 7:45. Were seated promptly. Didn't get food until 8:45. It was cold and all but inedible. Coffee was good. We drank two pots waiting for food

The food is really good. The vibe is lively and a mix of tourists and business executives savoring the many delicious and different breakfast offerings. The service was solid too. Try to crusted French toast, you will not be disappointed, it is well worth the extra few miles at the gym. There is no kids menu but they are willing... More

I am at the hotel where Norma's is and it was sold to me by the concierge as the best breakfast of NY... I of course did not believed him but why not trying? They do not have buffet, that was disappointing I had Crunchy French Toast and it was "half a kilo" toasts, the taste was very good The... More

Convenient and cool - very comfortable with excellent drinks and coffee! Highly recommend it when coming off the hot streets of NYC following a long day of business!

Our concierge recommended this place for sunday brunch. Kind of pricey but the food was delicious. Tip: If you just want eggs bacon and a pancake, ask for it! I went with my daughter who wanted only that though it wasn't on the menu. It was still $20 but better than the $45+ it would have cost trying to order... More

The coffee was far too strong so we couldn't drink it, the meals were HUGE easily enough for 2 or 3 which we weren't warned about.

OK, if you spend any amount of time in NYC, at some point you have to have breakfast at Norma's. Set to the side of the small but ornate marble and mirror lobby of the Parker Meriden, the space is simple but carries a certain classic elegance. The menu contains a variety of items - not inexpensive -- with tax... More

We heard this was a must try place for breakfast so we made reservations and couldn't wait to try it. Everything looked and sounded so good, it was hard to decide what to get. The portions are large and some items are really different than your normal breakfast choices. We thought the food was good as well as the service... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
