I've been to Norma's twice, once with a large group and once with just one other person. Both times the food was great. I love the potato pancakes, the duck hash, and the bananas foster pancakes. On my last and most recent visit to Norma's, the service was very disappointing. The server was not rude, but generally unpleasant to the... More

This place has great breakfast food., I best eggs benidict of my life.. Food is served with French press coffee.. Make sure you make a reservation ,, on line only so don't bother calling., the place is pricey and it is kind of out dated.. I would go back.. It is close to Russian tea room and Carnegie hall

My friend and I went to NYC to see Shen Yun at Lincoln Center which was beautiful and well worth seeing. The costumes were vibrant and the dancers glided across the floor as if they were on a cloud. The orchestra was large and fantastic. One dining experience I was anxious to try is Norma's famous for brunch. I did... More

I heard so many good things about this place and we had Breakfast one morning. The food is good, but not what I expected. Breakfast at Woseleys in London is better and the price tag is even lower. The next day we had breakfast again at Dean & Deluca across the Street of Le Parker Meridien. It was less expensive,... More

Most of the people who work here shouldn't. They have an outstanding menu to offer and a very attractive room, but they demonstrated deep incompetence at every level, starting with the hostess stand and continuing through every wait person encountered. It should be lower rated in my 'stars' for the experience, but the quality of the food is actually just... More

We were looking for an special breakfast and this was not it. The food was good not great. Coffee always came with the sludge of grounds and not particularly warm. The bread was not as good as we were expecting. It's just not worth the pricing. We also thought the service was OK - It felt like the politeness was... More

We visited Norma's for brunch on Christmas Day and had a good experience. The food was delicious and the portions HUGE! The fruit bowl in particular was really stunning - it turns up as more of a centrepiece! From a previous visit I would highly recommend the quesadillas. The only slight downside was the service was a bit slow and... More

If you are looking for a good place for breakfast or brunch in NYC, consider going to Norma's. We were seated close to our reservation time. Reservations are a must. It's pricey but the portions are large. The offerings are interesting in addition to the usual breakfast fare. We had the pulled pork hash and eggs which was very tasty... More

We went there for breakfast. Our expectations were really high but we were truly disappointed. It took almost 40 minutes wait to finally get Norma's signature pancakes. They were burnt on the side and soggy in the middle. Until then I thought you could not really go wrong ordering breakfast in NYC.

So on our last morning in NYC we decided to goto Norma's for brunch , every restaurant we had eaten at during our week stay had been great - Shame we left the worst for last! Table was ready 30mins after our booked time which is ok as they were busy , what wasn't ok were : The 50minute wait... More
