Norma's in the Parker Meridian Hotel is famous for breakfast and it's extremely popular (you can book a table on line and it's advisable to do so). The breakfast dishes are imaginative and enormous-- almost no one in our party could finish their entree. But the food was very good, the venue is pleasant and our server was professional. But... I booked this brunch as our last stop on our New York trip because I heard it was the best brunch in NY. And don't get me wrong, the service was flawless, you got a refill of juice whenever it started to get empty and the portions where huge. But we paid almost 150 dollars for our brunch (one dish... I went here from Sunday brunch with friends. They had been to Norma's before and absolutely love the place, so I expected great things. Norma's did not disappoint! The food was fantastic, portion sizes were much larger than expected and the presentation was really amazing. I have noted that some people have concerns about the price at Norma's. If you... More

I am on the board of a nonprofit organization. The Executive Director and Board Chair scheduled breakfast with every board member starting October 15th. A member of the staff called Norma’s and made reservations for all of the meetings. When they arrived at Norma’s on Wednesday, October 15th, they were told that there was no reservation and that they would... More

Overrated & Overpriced We ate here as it was recommended as the best place for breakfast in New York however I'm not sure if we were unlucky or what but it certainly didn't blow me away (apart from the whole in my pocket). The staff were very nice and looked after us well, bottomless fresh orange juice as we arrived... More

Supposedly this is one of the better breakfast places in NYC. The Omelet and french toast we had were very good. Very hard to justify the price tag though. Whether you want two eggs, a large omelet or fancy french toast, the price point is between $24 and $29. If you want a side, add another $8. How about coffee?... More

I advise you to book on advance because it could be a 30 minute wait otherwise (it was a 20 minute wait on an October Monday morning). The portions are absolutely massive and could easily be shared between two. Ny frittata was bland, even with a heap of salt on it but the ranchers were alright. The coffee is French... More

Well, I was very excited to brunch at the famed Le Parker Meridien's, Norma's. Very disappointed in my warm to tepid Eggs Florentine. Unimaginative baby potatoes accompanied w/undercooked bacon. French coffee press at table pretty, but harbored room temp coffee. Waiter overworked, left dirty dishes on table. He did not replenish coffee or juices in a timely manner. Portions disgustingly... The service is efficient, great French press coffee, beautiful fresh fruit, an outrageous variety of pancakes & waffles and other extravagant breakfast dishes. As well as steel cut oats.

If 2 pieces of French toast for $25 doesn't seem high to you... then go for the delicious breakfast. The unfriendly waiter will gladly serve you a $9 glass of orange juice (in all fairness it is fresh squeezed and delicious). It is in the Parker Meridian Hotel, if that impresses you. It has been open for quite a few... More
