We poped in on our way back from seeing Billy Joel at MSG on our way back to our Hotel.Only had a drink, but it was ok.A lot of snow outside but inside was very warm & full of locals.
We had to be in New York for four nights and our hotel was a few minutes' walk away from O'Reilly's. We ate and drank here on three of those nights! After a full day's activities, all you need is a reasonable bottle of wine, some wholesome food and a convivial atmosphere. O'Reilly's had all of this in spades. The... More
I stopped here couple of times in October for a beer and something quick to eat (the Pub was on my way back to the hotel from the Javits Center). I ordered both times at the bar and beer + food were ready quickly. This place is a nice place to have a sit and talk. Quite a lot of... More
This little pub is close to the Eventi hotel just off of 34th St. and Ave. of the Americas (6th Ave). it was walking distance for us for a late night dinner. The service was good, staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fun. Food and drink were typical pub fare and quite good.
called in here on our way to MSG one evening it was quiet enough at the time but the bar man was excellent and made us feel very welcome and often stopped for a chat in between serving. he also recomended food off the menu as we were undecided and it didnt disappoint it was very tasty. would defo return... Stopped at the Hampton Inn MSG for a week so this was a bit of a local pub for us. Went in twice for meals and a few beers so speaks for itself. There was 5 of us all of whom really enjoyed both meals. Big bonus for me was that it did one of the best pints of Boddingtons... More
We stopped in here very late on a Saturday on the way back to our hotel and ended up staying for a few hours. Bartender was friendly and did a wonderful job. As I went to the ladies room I told my husband to surprise me with a drink. The bartender gave me the Tao-tini which was really, really good.... More
Great location, good food, good beer and a safe area of New York City. Not very large, so you can't get lost of forgotten about. For New York City, the prices are fair and honest. Its a local joint, that's down the street from Penn station, so you get locals, guys having a drink before getting the train with friends... More
We stayed down the street at the Affinia Hotel, stopped in on our way back to the hotel after a day out on the town. Had a couple pints and many great laughs with the other patrons & the bar tender from Belfast Ireland. Stuffed mushrooms were very delicious, but no corned beef & cabbage on the menu so we... More
Ate here one night during NYC stay. We got a 15% discount as were in a nearby hotel so thought we would give it a go. We both had pasta dishes which were tasty, well cooked and very generous portions. However the experience was let down by poor service. We had to keep asking to order drinks then food and... More
