We went here in December 2008 because it was recommended in the Rough Guide to New York City. We didn't make a reservation and got seated right away. The food here is excellent. We especially enjoyed the pakora and the mushroom masala dosai, but everything was delicious. It was the best meal we had in our 6 day stay in the city, and some of the best Indian food we have had. As other reviewers indicated, you do not have to be a vegetarian to enjoy this food... more

Love the dosas and North Indian food here more than any other place in Curry Hill. The dosas are very crisp without dripping with fats. The North Indian food is also very simple and has a home-made type healthy touch to it. more
