We read so many great reviews for this restaurant while we were in town, so we decide to give it a try. We were optimistic after entering the restaurant, seeing how busy it was, and taking a gander at the buffet. We each filled our little boxes of many different items, to give it all a try. Out of the... More

this is one of the most convenient places to get lunch in koreatown. most of the food are prepacked and during the day, there are times at which they will serve a buffetstyle one, where you put the food in a box and they weigh it. This place is to be better before, but it is still nice today.

I am a big fan of Korean cuisine. Unfortunately in Portugal we don't have any Korean restaurants and when I was in New York, Korean Town is my paradise :D I tried Woorijip for the first time in 2009. The take out food is very cheap and they provide a variety of hot and cold dishes. The last time I... More

The food are generally replenished frequently, so it doesn't feel like picking through leftovers. The best part is they open late - perfect for quick bites after a late night karaoke brawl! They have a good variety of hot and cold prepared food (the self-serve counter is weighed at check-out), and the prices are very reasonable.

The hot buffet was already closed when we arrived but there was plenty hot and cold dishes in to go containers in the back. The food was more like Korean fast food, not as good as the fresh stuff but still hit the spot. Kimchi fried rice and the noodle dish was good and so is the bimbap (Korean sushi... More

This place really works like clockwork. Food is put up hot and piping in glass displays or served up ina buffet style format where you can pick up your korean favorites and put them in box and pay by weight. Excellent concept the counter staff is quick and friendly and generally a meal for two with a drnk should not... More

I was looking for somewhere cheap to eat near Empire State Building. This was just around the corner. We went in the evening so it wasn't too busy. There's plenty of selection and the bottle of wine was ridiculously cheap for NY. $7.99 for a bottle, which is what you are usually charged for. Glass of wine!

The place is very clean and the food is constantly being monitored and new dishes added. A buffet is open until 22 hours, and hot meals are available round the clock. Beverages are also very affordable, most beers (even imported) are just $3. Overall an excellent experience in Asian food.

Great place for the budget-conscious. I thoroughly enjoyed the selection - it is self-serve buffet with prepackaged hot meals too. Even if one did not like Korean food, there are more of the common place items like teriyaki chicken, fried rice, sweet and sour pork etc. This is the place to try different Korean foods at a very reasonable price.... I saw this restaurant from our room window at the La Quinta Inn Manhattan across the street. On Friday night of our trip I needed some dinner, and wanted some take-out to eat in our room. I hit the street and randomly picked this place. They have a nice hot and cold Korean buffet. I loaded up some random stuff.... More
