My famiky ate here last night. We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. The place was so packed there was a 20 minute wait for a table even with a reservation. The service was attentive and the decor was attractive. We each ordered whole fish red snapper. I forgot the reviews I had read a week... More

This is a mini chain of Thai restaurants in and around new York city. The menu has a good cross section of the thai dishes with spicy appetizers. Red curry, green curry being the gold standard of thai cooking. The dishes are coconut milk based and are rich and creamy..try the barbecued fish dish. Well worth the wait and price.

We ordered different dishes and shared among us. The portions are nice and the food is tasty, not really hot, and interesting. The service is a bit cold but professional. The only "but" I found was that it has very bad lighting, it might help with the ambiance, but at our table some were eating practically without seeing their plates... More

We tried so many things here and were pleased with everything. I will tell you that I can take spicy food, but the medium was almost too hot for me. Mild was surprisingly hot! Excellent service, great ambience. This is my second time here. The last time we came to Manhattan, we ate here and I just had to come... More

Went here on a Sun nite. Good food, nice portions and good looking space. Very tasty and interesting, But service was a bit slow and the water warm, no ice. Altogether, good place in the neighborhood.

We have been going to Jaiya for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal. The food is great and full of great flavors. However, the only issue many of my friends and family have encountered lately is the service. While some of the servers are friendly and kind there are others that should not be attending to... More

We picked 5 "must do" restaurants for our trip, and Jaiya Thai wasn't on the list. It was a recommendation from our airbnb host. It was great: The food, the service, and the atmosphere. On our next visit this will be our first stop.

Our first visit to New York therefore our first visit to this restaurant. We visited this restaurant at the recommendation of my daughters friend and have since become a renewed fan of Thai food. The restaurant itself is fairly compact in size but the seating is arranged well without being claustrophobic in any way. Service was good, not pushy or... More

Great Thai food. Service is OK but food deserved 6 Stars so I gave it 5 Stars. Good for any occasion either with family or for a date.
