Went here after a movie around 9:30 pm and it was crowded but we got seated right away. Tables are close together. The food was really good. We especially enjoyed the papaya salad-very tasty. Spring rolls were very good as were entrees, one shrimp and one chicken with pineapple fried rice. I would definitely go back but a reservation would... More

I highly recommend making reservations if you plan to go to Jaiya Restaurant. The resto has a delicious selection of Thai cuisine that's slightly different from other places I've been so far. The bar area is cozy but the seating is a bit too tight and awkward. Their cocktails aren't also the greatest but everything else rocked! This place is... More

Everything was great. Service was warm friendly and quick, prices were reasonable for the quailty and the food was the best Thai food i have ever had, and I have it often. The decor is lovely even if the place is a bit tight. I ordered a green salad with traditional peanut dressing to start, and the seered garlic prawns,... More

I don't know whats up with all the 4 stars or less review. This place deserves 5 stars always! Jaiya has the best Thai food I have ever eaten in my whole life! Of all the Thai restaurants I have eaten in all over the world, including Thailand, Jaiya is HANDS DOWN the absolute BEST! I am not exaggerating. I've... More

Had dinner here last night. We were 4 people. The prices were in line for an upper east side restaurant . We started with appetizers. The grilled flank steak, curry puffs,mee-krob(crunchy rice noodles) and grilled eggplant all got a high passing grade. The squid was very chewy and not to our liking. For our entrees we shared the whole fish, the... More

Very authentic restaurant. Busy and brisk but lovely food and good value. Will definitely visit on my next trip to the big apple.

My famiky ate here last night. We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. The place was so packed there was a 20 minute wait for a table even with a reservation. The service was attentive and the decor was attractive. We each ordered whole fish red snapper. I forgot the reviews I had read a week... More

This is a mini chain of Thai restaurants in and around new York city. The menu has a good cross section of the thai dishes with spicy appetizers. Red curry, green curry being the gold standard of thai cooking. The dishes are coconut milk based and are rich and creamy..try the barbecued fish dish. Well worth the wait and price.

We ordered different dishes and shared among us. The portions are nice and the food is tasty, not really hot, and interesting. The service is a bit cold but professional. The only "but" I found was that it has very bad lighting, it might help with the ambiance, but at our table some were eating practically without seeing their plates... More

We tried so many things here and were pleased with everything. I will tell you that I can take spicy food, but the medium was almost too hot for me. Mild was surprisingly hot! Excellent service, great ambience. This is my second time here. The last time we came to Manhattan, we ate here and I just had to come... More
