WOWZER!

Each dinner was delish. I even was handed a printed gluten free menu with lots of options ... the Thai fish was fab! Seated when we arrived and the room was quiet enough to support quiet conversations! Staff was attentive and knowledgeable.

The waiter told me that they did not know how to cook a well done burger. I ordered it and found it to be juicy, but tasteless. (no salt or pepper). I wrote to the owner, Jeff Nathan who proceeded to tell me how smart he was and that I did not know what I was talking about. He claims... More

Our first "WOWZER!" ~ thank you! We're pleased that you enjoyed your visit to Abigael's so much. The Allergen Menu has been a big hit with so many of our customers, and it's good to know that you appreciated having a pre-printed menu that eases your food restrictions, in addition to keeping kosher. Thanks too for mentioning our staff members... More

The food was not that amazing here. I ordered quite a few items on the menu and did not like any of it, unfortunately :( Note: I did not order any steak so that may have been my fault; however! A restaurant that sells good food should make ALL the food good, not just a good steak or the most... More

Thanks for your great comments about our service. We're equally as proud of our service as we are of the food, and are concerned about your comments that you did not enjoy any of our sushi, pan-Asian, Latin, Mediterranean or American selections. With such a globally eclectic menu, most guests enjoy so many of our items. However, since you've already... More

My daughter and I had a delicious meal at this meat restaurant in Manhattan and bought take out sushi from them the next day. We went early so the restaurant was very quiet and easy to talk in.

Made a 7pm reservation for 4 people to have dinner with friends. We were seated immediately by a very friendly waiter who offered us menus, drinks list and the wine kid and went thru all the specials. I got the Carnivores Delight ($37) which was a sampling of different meats, fries and salad. 2 people in our group had salad... More

I recently went out to Abigael's with my family and we were a party of 8. The restaurant was packed as there were a lot of graduation celebrations that night. However, our waiter Angel did a really great job despite the crowd size. I got the Brazilian steak and honey-roasted potatoes which I highly recommend. The Fajita steak salad is... More

William greeted us warmly and his charm and sense of humour were the best thing about the meal. His excited recommendations built up expectations that sadly were not met by the chefs. Much of the meat on the carnivore's platter was overcooked, and the sauces on the sizzling ribs were overpowering, too sweet and burnt. Having dined out all week... More

We're saddened to learn that you didn't enjoy your visit with us. We usually get some really terrific comments about what we have to offer and are troubled that you didn't enjoy your meal. Please know that had you mentioned your disappointment with your selection to the manager, we would have gladly replaced it with something else. Perhaps at a... More

We visited Abigails to celebrate our daughter's birthday. After attending Wicked on Broadway we thought this would be a great way to end the day. We were right. I am incredibly impressed with Abigael's each and every time we go. I am quite hard to please, I guess I'm a little picky with my food, and I have never tasted food as delicious as they make it here. I went to Abigaels with my husband last night to celebrate our first anniversary, and what a great decision that was! We've been to many other restaurants in NYC but none came close to shining like Abigaels did last night. It was all thanks to our amazing waiter, William. From the moment we took our seats, William made us comfortable.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
