Eating at Abigael's is always a pleasure. The delicious hanger steak that I usually order was not on the menu when I visited but our wonderful server Christopher recommended a lean rib steak not on the menu and it was absolutely delectable. The salad was and dessert were delicious as well.

It has been a while since i have been to Abigael's, but i decided to go out their for dinner. The place has not changed much, which is alright. In my mind it has always been a cozy, warm place to eat. We were seated downstairs, and we ordered right away. For appetizers we ordered the brisket egg roll, the... More

We're delighted that you still enjoy the warm coziness of the restaurant. The Brisket Eggroll is one of our top selling favorites, and it's good to know that you enjoyed it. We checked the dumplings to see if perhaps there was a variation to the recipe, but it remains the same, with lemongrass, kafir lime and just a hint of... More

Went to Abigael's for lunch at the main room. The upstairs, which I prefer for their excellent sushi, was not ready (the waiter was not in yet at noon...) Pan Asian chicken salad was basically good, but not what you would expect for this type of a place and money.

Thanks for visiting us! The eclectic global menu and the Pan Asian / Sushi menus are available in whichever dining room you sit. Our prices are in line with fine dining restaurants throughout mid-town Manhattan. Apologies that on the day you visited, there was a late start. Since you did enjoy the Chopped Asian Salad at lunch, hopefully you'll have... More

Would not have known this was a kosher place. Only noticed sign on leaving. Great location on Broadway with a wonderful turkey sandwich. Red pepper mayo made the dish. Fries perfectly done. Wine by the glass a bit pricey. The tuna sandwich also top notch but accompanying salad was not best choice. A good lunch venue right in the heart... More

Had dinner there with business friends since one of us eats only Kosher food. The main part of the place is located underground but looks OK. The service was also fine not more. The food was basically oriental and not more than OK. To conclude: if you must find a Kosher place in NYC than this is a good solution,... More

have been a patron for many years--on last visit, one of the salad side dishes was very good---called to Chef Jeff Nathan, and Jigi, the manager, 5 times to ask what were the ingredients of the salad-----left messages-----never received the courtesy of a response---------Abigaels may have developed an attitude---

Apologies for the delay in responding to your request. As you know from past experience, we've always been happy to oblige with recipe requests. If you're off to see a broadway show and keep kosher, Abigail's is a perfect spot. The decor leaves a lot to be desired but the tasty food makes up for the lack of ambience. The dining room is in a windowless downstairs room that calls to mind hotel ballroom pesach programs. Nonetheless, the menu is varied- including a separate... More

Thanks for your kind words about Abigael's! We've recently redecorated our large lower level rooms and have gotten some terrific comments about the fresh new look. Our upstairs dining room, though much smaller has a terrific view of the Broadway Promenade, which is just perfect for people watching! During Passover our lower level rooms open up into a grand dining... More
