Business dinner last night - they put 120 people in a room with NO AC! It must have been 90 degrees in there. Not even a working fan. The manager says NO AC available in the winter! 120 very angry guests who will not be returning to this restaurant. Beware!

Please accept our apologies that we were unable to access the air conditioning. The air conditioning in the 39 storey building that we are located in is not commissioned to be in service during January. We do have several fans and venting systems for when the winter days are warmer than expected. The host of your business dinner requested that... More

was part of a group of 13 celebrating a birthday. 11 of us loved our meals, primarily steak or several fish dishes. The two that felt their steaks were too well done, were quickly satisfied by management with a replacement stem cooked to perfection. Appetizers were terrific as was a massive kitchen sink type of desert shared by all.

Abigail's on Broadway is a lovely, well managed Kosher restaurant that has food for everyone. Along with the very, very interesting meat and chicken dishes, it has a terrific selection fish entrees and sushi and sashimi dishes. The dining room is downstairs, but there is elevator access. It provides an atmosphere that is comfortable and contemporary.

The food was amazing, the rib eye was very good, I tasted the fish was very very soft and delicious. I see improvements with a new chef. It was a really good experience I hope to be back there soon.

The food was very good, even the 10 year old who is picky wants to go back for the popcorn chicken. Definitely recommend

Thank you for sharing your comments. As you can tell from the hundreds of other on-line reviews, we get some really great comments about our food, atmosphere and service. While there are occasional comments about a new waiter still honing their skills, we're pleased with the amount of happy customers we have. For any lack in service on the night... More

Food is always consistently good. Menu has something for everyone. Waitstaff is good as well. Great at hosting big family meals; Abigaels often hosts big tables. Downsides: food is pricey, restaurant is noisy.

Great to read that you are regular customers and enjoy the food, service and spaciousness of Abigael's. With seating for 350, and 8 private party rooms, big occasions are a big deal! This time of year, we've got lots of winter holiday parties going on, as well as the usual sheva brochot. For something quieter, the upstairs lounge is always... More

We go to Abigael's every year on our anniversary and have a wonderful time. This year did not disappoint! Our server, David M. was extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful, as were all the wait staff. The food was fabulous and the ambiance very nice. All in all we had a wonderful trip and plan on returning soon!

I made reservations for a family dinner last month at Abigail's and was very pleased with the quality of service and the quality of food. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly and the wait staff were fussing to ensure our needs were met. Recommendations - Sizzling Korean Short Rib (main dish); Smoked Brisket Egg Roll (appetizer)

We scheduled a family dinner at Abigael's last night and couldn't have been more pleased. The food was excellent and our server, Derek, was professional, personable and very helpful. Not only would we be very happy to come again, I'd be inclined to specifically ask for Derek as our server. Whatever they're paying him, he's worth more! That's exactly the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
