Truly excellent food!

Made a 7pm reservation for 4 people to have dinner with friends. We were seated immediately by a very friendly waiter who offered us menus, drinks list and the wine kid and went thru all the specials. I got the Carnivores Delight ($37) which was a sampling of different meats, fries and salad. 2... read more

I recently went out to Abigael's with my family and we were a party of 8. The restaurant was packed as there were a lot of graduation celebrations that night. However, our waiter Angel did a really great job despite the crowd size. I got the Brazilian steak and honey-roasted potatoes which I highly recommend. The Fajita steak salad is... More

William greeted us warmly and his charm and sense of humour were the best thing about the meal. His excited recommendations built up expectations that sadly were not met by the chefs. Much of the meat on the carnivore's platter was overcooked, and the sauces on the sizzling ribs were overpowering, too sweet and burnt. Having dined out all week... More

We're saddened to learn that you didn't enjoy your visit with us. We usually get some really terrific comments about what we have to offer and are troubled that you didn't enjoy your meal. Please know that had you mentioned your disappointment with your selection to the manager, we would have gladly replaced it with something else. Perhaps at a... More

We visited Abigails to celebrate our daughter's birthday. After attending Wicked on Broadway we thought this would be a great way to end the day. We were right. The service is excellent, food is delicious, atmosphere is very nice for families or romantic dinners. I love the small rooms that they have. Dessert is really good and drinks while expensive... I am incredibly impressed with Abigael's each and every time we go. I am quite hard to please, I guess I'm a little picky with my food, and I have never tasted food as delicious as they make it here. The waiters are truly knowledgeable and fluent in the menu - each one can help you figure out what dish... More

I went to Abigaels with my husband last night to celebrate our first anniversary, and what a great decision that was! We've been to many other restaurants in NYC but none came close to shining like Abigaels did last night. It was all thanks to our amazing waiter, William. From the moment we took our seats, William made us comfortable.... More

I have eaten in kosher restaurants around the world, and I have to admit that this is one of the better ones. Abigael's offers a very nice menu, really good food, great ambience, and the location couldn't be more centrally located near Times Square and the Broadway show district. I highly recommend.

My wife and I go here at least twice a year. We have come to work with the issues this place has only BECAUSE OF THEIR FAIR REASONABLE PRICES, If they stated charging $50+ for their steaks like some other kosher NYC steakhouses, we would prob stop going. For one, we do not go here if we need to catch... More

I started the meal with the Smoked Brisket Eggroll with a barbecue vinaigrette ($15). I thought that it was good but not good enough to make me want to order it in future visits. For my main course I ordered the Roast Duck served with a fruit sauce ($39), the portion was large. Duck is one of my favorite dishes,... More

Thanks for sharing your comments. You ordered some of our more popular items, including The Smoked Brisket Eggroll. We do not offer the Muscovy Duck, which is often... More

I happened across Agagaels after a long day of travel. I discovered after entering that I was really underdressed for the restaurant, but received polite and friendly service regardless. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
