Riingo have a "private room" if you have a large party or you can sit at small tables. The place is good for lunch and the menu is a bit contemporary. Inside they have a minimalistic style which also mirror the menu.

My husband and I were staying at the Alex hotel and decided to visit Riingo for brunch. Our server was very nice and attentive, but the food was just plain lousy! It seemed like no thought or care was put into preparing the dishes. I ordered a chicken sandwich with melted white cheddar and avocado mayo (I asked for it... More

Riingo has been around for a few years, and I had been dying to try it since day 1. However, I have heard so many mixed reviews that it dropped down on my priority list. However, I tried it for the first time during Restaurant Week and was pleasantly surprised. As I entered the dazzling two-story eatery, I was greeted... More

I had heard good things, and I've been to Marcus's Aquavit, so we were expecting greatness. If you go, be sure to avoid the table we had: in the hallway next to the server's station. Each time they grabbed some silverware, they slammed the drawer closed and we felt it in the back of our booth seat. Plus, we were... More

Made the mistake of not leaving enough time to get to the restaurant on a Friday night during the Christmas season. Arrived an hour late for my reservations, but was graciously received. With play tickets across town we decided to go the sushi route. (although a few entrees piqued our curiosity) We were not disappointed with the quality or presentation... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
