What a location!

Decided to stop in for a cocktail after seeing off a friend in Grand Central. We were lucky to get a table by the balcony, and enjoyed our drinks (delicious!) while taking in the view, reviewing our busy day, and planning the evening. Very nice!

You can't beat the venue for the grand vistas and the history. We tried their brunch today, and first our order for eggs were incorrect and when they came, they were badly over-cooked despite asking for them to be very soft. On the positive side, the champagne was really cold, and we had a marvelous time people watching and examining... More

We were walking through Grand Central and decided to drop in here without a reservation. They were full but they graciously squeezed us in and we're glad they did. The wine list was very good; the food was excellent; the service was friendly and attentive - and, we loved watching the hustle and bustle of GCS from our front-row balcony... More

I can't imagine eating dinner with the family in one of the stations back in London but this was a fantastic experience. The Grand Central station terminal is a wonderful building and the balcony location gives great views. The food was good, if expensive, the wine lovely and the service pleasant without being over-bearing. Worth a visit if you have... More

Is one of my favourites in NYC, the food is very good, although expensive, the service is excellent and the location is unique, inside the Grand Central.

We ordered parma ham and cheese, spaghetti and chicken salad. The waiter forgot to place the order for salad, but he was very apologetic and put a rush on the late order. The food tasted good but nothing to brag about. With the location (at the balcony of Grand Central Station), the place is noisy and with tables so close... More

This restaurant, which originated at Harry's in Venice, Italy, serves a very good Italian meal. It is not cheap, but definitely worth it. The tagliatelle were excellent and just al dente enough. The ossobucco was somewhat more ordinary, but also quite nice. Sitting at the "terrace" overlooking the Grand Central Station was a nice addition. I don't know if we'll... More

Great italian food, good service and nice atmosphere. What to expect from a location like Grand Central Terminal ? I was surprised by this little nice restaurant offering honest food and good wines. Pricing very fair. You should try it.

Perfect combination for a good italian wine would be a burrata and slices of parma ham. Absolutely delicious!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
