We arrived here with our 6:00 reservation on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately. The restaurant is in Grand Central Station and overlooks the main terminal entry area. The Location in Grand Central is well worth the visit. The food however was underwhelming. The Food wasn't bad by any means but because of the "CIpriani" name I expected much better food and service. We still Had a very nice evening and enjoyed our visit as it was fun dining in the majestic Grand Central terminal.

I think the Cipriani brand holds a lot of clout in NYC, and no one would argue that. However this outpost doesn't seem to be remotely related to the brand. I would say the service was quick, efficient and professional; I never had to wait for a drink. But the food left us wondering where we were. We ordered a... More

Great people watching on the mezzanine of Grand Central . We stopped by for dessert and night cap after a jazz dinner. Only complaint, the restrooms are difficult to get to.

So many awesome restaurants in NYC, do yourself a favor and skip this one. Not impressed with the signature Baked Tagliolini with Ham or the Tagliardi with Veal Ragu, which tasted as if the meat was spoiled. The bread basket and Bellinis were just ok.

We went last Friday of restaurant week, and chose this restaurant becasue fo the location; we were meeting friends from out ot town who were coming into Grand Central. The pre fixe menur was okay, I had the veal cheeks and octopus appetizer, very tender, byt octopus was micro planed, very sparse on the plate, my husband had the fish... More

With a location, on one of the balconies of Grand Central Terminal, the scenery and atmosphere is just amazing. I sat with 2 friends just on the terrace. We took the menu courses (38$ for starter, main and desert). The food and drinks were just great. For this price I couldn't have asked for more. They could easily request for... More

The location is great (we sat on the balcony overlooking the main area within Grand Central) and I certainly enjoyed the cocktails. The food, however, was very average (all of the three meals my colleagues and I ordered).

Took the railroad into Grand Central to meet an out of town friend, and after walking all around that beautiful station, we decided we wanted to dine in Grand Central...no need to search else where .Considered the Oyster bar but settled on Cipriani's. We were just in time for their Sunday brunch...we decided on the Prix Fixed at about $27... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
