Upper lever so you can watch the action in and out of grand central. Sip a Bellini and take a few minutes to remember why Grand Central is such an iconic train station.

The location at the central hall is great for observing people, tourists and commuters alike while having a meal. However, the rest was disappointing. The menu looks promising, but what you get on the plate does not live up to these expectations. Since we were not really hungry, my wife and I decided to settle on a salad (for her)... More

If you are looking for Italian fine dining in a 100 year old subway station than I am afraid you do not have many options (atleast stateside). Very good Italian food and great setting. Must go if on a visit to the Grand Central.

i was with a friend enjoying Restaurant Week and although the choices were limited what I ordered was delicious. There was chilled Asparagus soup, then Sea Bream Filet with Zucchini and Black Olives and to top it off a wonderful, light as a feather Vanilla Creme Meringue Cake. It was busy and although we had reservations there was a wait... More

Awesome authentic italian in the heart of grand central station watching the crowds and being surrounded by amazing great hall architecture. For some reason though they don't seem to want to serve you on arrival. First time I went I stood waiting for ages before I was asked if I wanted anything. Second time I went I stood there for... As two of a group of 20 from Australia, in NYC as part of an Academy Travel (Sydney) tour, we were treated to a lovely lunch at Cipriani Dolci. We'd spent the morning looking at notable buildings and were pleased to be able to relax in comfort, overlooking the concourse of Grand Central Station. Most of us chose a pasta... More

Sat in the beautiful surroundings of Grand Central Station with the finest table linen and a champagne cocktail - what's not to like? Totally blown away by the prosciutto, mozzarella and rocket sandwich. A must visit.

Whether you are waiting for a train or just nearby and want a great meal, this is the place to dine...they have chicken wings that are fileted?? don't know how they do it, delicious and fun to eat. You can sit high above the train floor watching hundreds of people below and experience great food..we love it

I was meeting a girlfriend and booked a table for 2 for lunch at Cipriani Dolce at Grand Central in early June. Having been to several Cipriani restaurants in NY and Italy...my expectation was that the food and service would be wonderful. We found the service to be indifferent....they constantly asked if we wanted wine or cocktails. We both had... More

The place is pretty famous with its connection to the inventor of the Belini, which is written about in the menu. Servers are attentive and friendly, but professional. Drinks are expensive; but, that said, it is a very nice place to relax with a beverage while you take in the beauty of the station from a cozy vantage point with... More
