We popped into Grand Central Station to have a look round and hoping to find a nice place for a few cocktails & we found it here! It's situated on the balcony overlooking the centre of the station with its famous clock and beautifully painted high ceilings! We didn't eat but say at the bar area and enjoyed some amazing... I gave this place a four because of its eunique location on the balcony of grand central station. It was nice to have a preseco and look at the amazing ceiling. Service was good. Food was a two. My husband had a slimy chicken curry and I had a chicken sandwich drowning in mayo. Would return for drinks.

We had a limited time for dinner before a Broadway show and had been recommended the oyster bar at Grand Central Station in NYC. We were unimpressed with the oyster bar situation and just happened upon Cipriani in the terrace area of the station. The restaurant is open to the grand hall of the station and when we were there... I had lunch there while on a business trip and loved the location, vibe, and menu but the value was disappointing... I ordered a fish dish that came with a side of broccoli and got exactly that... two plates... one with a fish on it, and another with some broccoli on it... the fish was nicely seasoned but ever so... Everything was great and only the service was better than the food! The one item I want to comment on is the vanilla ice cream service. Each time a table orders vanilla ice cream they make it to order right then and it is fabulous. Don't miss it.

I've been to this little gem many times over the years and finally thought I'd write about it. The restaurant is situated at one end of the great hall of Grand Central Terminal and therefore has a wonderful view and an incredible vibe. It can get busy so I tend to go at times other than the height of lunch... More

We decided to take advantage of the Restaurant Week menu to try new "fancy" places. And what best than a Cipriani, right? Well, the place is unbeatable, the Grand Central Station is one of the best spots in NYC, in my opinion. But the food at the Restaurant Week menu did not live up to the expectations we had on... Upper lever so you can watch the action in and out of grand central. Sip a Bellini and take a few minutes to remember why Grand Central is such an iconic train station.

The location at the central hall is great for observing people, tourists and commuters alike while having a meal. However, the rest was disappointing. The menu looks promising, but what you get on the plate does not live up to these expectations. Since we were not really hungry, my wife and I decided to settle on a salad (for her)... More

If you are looking for Italian fine dining in a 100 year old subway station than I am afraid you do not have many options (atleast stateside). Very good Italian food and great setting. Must go if on a visit to the Grand Central.
