Good food with a view

Convenient location in Grand Central Station, nice for people-watching if you get the right table. Excellent Italian fare, sometimes waiters disappear, but elegant setting and fun.

This restaurant is one of the few on the balcony level. The restaurant beside it stopped taking customers for the day as it was late, but fortunately this Italian restaurant was still open for business. We love the view overlooking the concourse of Grand Central. It’s like watching a performance from a balcony seat! As it was around closing time,... More

And I found out about this restaurant during restaurant week but was unable to attend and take advantage of restaurant week...so we made a special trip to come down here and try the food...even with all the craziness of Grand Central terminal you can enjoy the atmosphere in here it's energetic...The food is very good here I don't think I... Awesome elevated restaurant in the main hall of Grand Central Station. The restaurant has wide ranging menu with carpaccio, salads, club sandwiches and range of pastas. The ravioli and calamari were particularly good. Watch out the bread and the bread sticks are dangerously good!

The food, prosecco and sheer scale of the setting makes this a great place to wow your friends or family. We ate there for a birthday lunch and views across the concourse were stunning. Food was tasty and prosecco delicious.

Came to Grand Central Station to check out the station. Instead a great surprise to find a Cipriani at one end and an Apple Store at the other end.... We ordered the "Proscuitto Tower" which was fantastic, as was the fish and broccoli. The Cipriani margarita was not what I'd expected but overall the place , service and food was... More

We stopped in before we caught our train. One glass of their house brand prosecco was $14.95. The atmosphere is great, the waitstaff was very professional.

We were just there before catching a train, so we had a Spritz and few bites. The place is very classy and we loved the location (inside the GRand Central terminal in New York). You can seat at the bar or at tables. Here they serve little bites and apetizer with drinks.Pricey but you pay the name and the location....Love... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
