We ate here twice during our 4 day trip to New York. Had 2 very good meals. It's not cheap but the food is good. A lot less upmarket than a lot of places to eat in new york. You feel comfortable in jeans and trainers. Would recommend this place.

Ignore the hype and you may be satisfied. The food was ok, higher-priced but nothing special. There are cheaper and better places to eat in Manhattan - but they are not located in Macy's. We visited for dinner after attending a nearby convention and walked in near closing time. In spite of this the table service was very good (although... More

Last time I went to NYC I went to this place twice and loved it. I admit this time we called in I did not know the opening hours, but when I got to the door I was met by someone who bluntly said "we're closed". Fair play my mistake about the opening hours, but you could have been a... More

Ate here on my first night in New York. It was Happy Hour, so the wine was half price!. Loved the Cobb Salad that I had.

The food wasn't that bad, but it was a little higher priced. I feel that we were paying for the atmoshphere of eating at "Macy's on 34th". It's similar to eating at an overpriced Chili's.

We had lunch at the restaurant after a morning of touring and shopping. We had the Brisket Ruben sandwich and the chopped salad. Very large portions. We could have shared. Great wait staff.

Ate at Macy's Cellar Bar and Grill twice. Very classy and stylish place to eat but very affordable. Beautiful food. Staff very friendly. Can't go wrong grabbing a bit to eat here.

Macy is a great place for shopping and this place very convenient when the hunger comes. The service good and the food selection what you would expect. The quality of the food was good and we had a great experience - price level as average in New York.

It was ok. Ambiance is not perfect, because you looed right into shooping people. Not a romantic place. We chose to dine here because of practicle reasons. Good food, but a bit expensive for the ambiance.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch during our visit to NYC and Macy's. We had the brisket sandwich and clam chowder and were quite pleased with the taste and quantity. Service was very good. At the time we visited, at about noon on a Monday, there were plenty of empty tables and several wait staff available. Certainly worth... More
