Artful and Delicious!

Was treated to lunch at this lovely restaurant. The aromas that greeted us were inviting and the food was both delicious and artfully presented.

My husband and I ate here on the last night of our anniversary vacation, and it was the best meal of our trip. We were impressed by the menu selection, which includes vegan tapas and sushi in addition the the main entrees. The food came quickly and was presented beautifully garnished with herbs and flowers. My husband's soup came in... More

It was ok, I liked the dumplings but the rest was just average. I got a ramen and it wasn't that good. The place is fine but nothing special.

The hotel concierge recommended Franchia, as we were looking for a restaurant that served vegetarian and gluten free meals for my wife. This Korean fusion restaurant relies heavily on 'fake meat' for its dishes which was a little disappointing to me (as a non-vegetarian) as I've eaten some great meals at vegetarian restaurants that don't feel the need to imitate... This is a pleasant restaurant where you can enjoy Korean vegetable dishes in an elegant, but informal environment. I had one of the hot stone bowl dishes, which was an interesting experience--just be very careful to avoid touching the serving bowl or plate because they're exceptionally hot. They have a great selection of organic teas for after the meal. I... More

I was surprised and confused when I got my first bite. I thought at first I was eating real meat... But then my mind reminded me I was in a vegan restaurant. Good job guys! Really delicious.

My wife & I came for dinner after a long day of travel. My wife is vegan and was pleased with the offerings. The food was very tasty - a bit on the pricey side, though. A very nice spot for a relaxing dinner.

Very Zen atmosphere. Seating is on three levels and the ceiling is a work of art. Food is excellent as is the service. I frequent Franchia. Cake is moist and delicious. I am only disappointed that they took the Green Tea Cake off the menu. It was replaced by a blueberry one; also delicious.

First off, I'm a vegetarian, so I've eaten in my fair share of vegan restaurants. We sat down for lunch this week, and two dirty plates were placed in front of us. I asked for new plates, and we got two "new" plates. These also had food stuck to them and clearly weren't clean. Ugh. The food was average at... More

Small restaurant, I've tried the eggplant curry and Penang curry noodles. Food is tasty. Was disappointed with the dessert. I've ordered the blue berry coconut cake which I thought was dry and too sweet. There was very little blueberry in the cake itself....

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
