First time, nice time

I lived in NYC for a while, so when I came in for a day with my mom, I gave her three options of restaurants I had wanted to try, she chose this one. I would return for sure. Overall, we enjoyed our meal very much, sharing everything we ordered. First, Franchia Roll (sushi) - this was... read more

We, a couple, went for lunch on a Saturday. This place being on Park Avenue has a very muted signpost. Inside, it looked quite nice but dark. We were seated near the entrance but there is also another dining area, a few stairs up. We ordered: Soup of The Day : Great soup but I forget what vegetable it was... More

The food here is very good and the design is pretty cool, three tiers of seating. They also have good vegan sushi which is nice to find.

This place has got to be the number one vegan restaurant I have ever eaten at. The vast array of choice is unbelievable and every meal I have eaten here is hot quickly prepared and served in a lovely friendly manner. The prices are brilliantly competitive with any other eatery- intact for what they achieve taste wise I think they... More

Oh my goodness what a choice...what flavours...I can personal recommend the vegan shrimp stone bowl...The crispy eggplant in spicy sauce. The chicken Satay starter is 5 skewers of 5 pieces so plenty for a couple to share. I also would have had this more than once but had it on my last day before flying home and that is Franchia's... This is delicious... the specialty drinks and the food are fabulous!! Its also relatively inexpensive. Located on Park Avenue, on 35th Street, it is perfect for anyone whoo is visiting Grand Central Terminal or The Empire State building.

this place is absolutely amazing! I had the crispy tofu sushi and had to order a few extra orders. HIGHLY recommended for vegans, vegetarians, and anyone else looking for a meatless, delicious meal.

We were looking for a veggie restaurant within walking distance of Grand Central, and we made a great choice! The menu, the ambience, the waitstaff all exceeded expectations. Although not everyone in our party was a vegetarian, we all found wonderful options on the expansive menu. The fixed price dinner was very worthwhile; otherwise, we might not have taste the... More

We ended up here because HanGawi could not fit us into their expected onslaught of people with reservations (although the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived). This was originally disappointing because I had really enjoyed a meal at HanGawi several months ago and wanted to go there with my husband. We definitely enjoyed our meal here. The menu had... More

My daughter and I were blown away by the delicious and fresh vegetarian bowls of food. Don't be put off that there are no other restaurants around. We were there for pre theater and early. The restaurant filled up and we had order envy. Veggies, check it out.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
