The food is good (I ate the Ramen noodle soup) and the prices are decent compare to NY. My Vegan friend really liked the place and swear to come back.

This is my favourite spot for tea in NYC. The interior design is unlike anything in NY, and it is easy to allow your mind to forget it's in one of the busiest cities in the world. I love places that are able to create a calm space in the midst of the insanity that is New York - it's... More

This asian fusion vegan restaurant is full of good surprises. Beyond the "cafe" title and ordinary storefront lies beautiful decor cleverly packed into a narrow space. The natural wood throughout is inviting and the ceiling is much like an asian temple. The ground floor is more accessible (and restrooms are downstairs too), but despite the next level having tighter quarters,... More

Great restaurant with very tasty food. I got the "duck" bibimbap and it was super good. A little bit pricey for dinner (17-20$ for a dish) but it's worth it. Would recommend to anyone!

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The service is excellent and the food innovative and tasty. One of us is vegetarian and one eats meat, both really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. Thoroughly recommend.

Good selection of vegan dishes to choose from and reasonably priced. The portions sizes were quite good too but not overbearing. My friend who's never really had vegan food before chose a imitation shrimp and chicken main dish. He asked me to try the 'chicken' as he thought it couldn't be vegan, as it tasted very much like chicken and... More

As an omnivore who's been to a few vegan restaurants, I often alter my expectations when I know there's no meat, fish, dairy or egg on the menu. And I generally enjoy the meal, but leave feeling something was missing (the something usually being meat, fish, dairy or egg). I left Franchia only with the feeling that I had a... More

When I come to NY and I want to return to an amazing and healthy restaurant, I think of Franchia. Food is delicious and it's worth it to try a number of dishes of possible, by sharing or however, because they're all so good. Love the tea element too.

We went during a New Years weekend in NY.the restaurant was busy but not frantic and early (6:30) reservations were not hard to get. Our orders arrived promptly but we weren't rushed. The food was excellent and imaginative. We particularly liked a couple of dishes made with avocado. The spicy dishes were a little too spicy for some and came... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
