We went to Dos Caminos for lunch on a weekend visit based on recommendations from a couple of friends, and were glad we did. The guac and salsa trio to start was great. The guac was great and the three salsas were all different flavors and level of spice. The meals were very good as well, especially the carnitas tacos--great... More

If you like Mexican food you won't go far wrong. This is a cut above chipotle and other everyday Mexicana type eateries. Good choice of beer and most surprisingly a selection of tequila which ranks alongside malt whiskies. Forget the firewater you neck as a student. This stuff you can sip, you don't need a lemon or salt and you... More

Loved the food and the atmosphere. The service was very good, everything right and quick - and we were a group of 11 people. The guacamole is very well served, and the platano empanada was amazing!

Always looked busy with locals - always a good sign! Great authentic mexican food offering some different alternatives to the usual mexican fare. Also great cocktails & pleasant staff.

In March we visited the Dos Caminos in Soho near where we were staying and as we were further uptown this trip we decided to try this one. Husband insists on the Cadillacs which he loves and I like my Blueberry Margarita. Food,as always was tasty and good. No room for dessert this time. Not your typical Mexican that us Brits... More

I eat here all the time and will make special trips into NYC just to have some of their delicious food. The guacamole is amazing! Some Mexican restaurants make their guac with too many onions, but not Dos Caminos. I really only eat two things when I eat there: the cheese quesadilla and the queso fundido. If you like cheese... Great atmosphere - decor was trendy and fun and the staff was friendly and helpful (music was a little loud for dinner - it was more club style). The food and drinks were delicious! I ordered one of the specialty cocktails and I shared the taco sampler platter with a friend - the pork tacos are simply amazing!

We ate here twice during our wisit to NYC and found the place to offer really good food. The guacamole is really good and their tacos too. It is a very cosy restaurant abd the service is really good and attentive. The only objection I would have is that the waitress failed to mention that the special of the day... More

Dos Caminos was just round the corner from our hotel so for our first night it was an ideal location. We used opentable to make a reservation 2 hours before our visit, and when we got there we were shown straight to our table. Just as well as the place was packed, and considering the size of the place (it's... More

Fresh Mexican food in flavors you are not used to coming from Denmark (very limited selection of Mexican food). We tried both the Brunch and the traditional part of the menu and it was all very tasty. Make sure to order the guacamole as a starter it's very nice :)
