Great value burritos

Visited for an after work dinner and a couple of drinks. The service was excellent, the food was served fast and was a very healthy portion and the bulldog cocktails were great. The price was reasonable too, we will definitely return.

The food here was excellent. I had a beef burrito and my partner had chicken. Both were beautiful. We also both had a frozen margarita's to accompany the food which were very refreshing. This was one of the cheapest meals we had in NYC but also one of the nicest.

Every time I visit NYC I go to Blockheads for some food. It has a nice relaxed vibe and the service is always friendly. Burritos are delish and huge- literally massive if you're from the UK and not used to such portion sizes! The guac is also worth mentioning as it's perfection. Oh and the cocktails are lethal!! My favourite... More

Excellent place to have some cocktails and good mexican food. I've been here quite a few times with friends to unwind and have some dinner after long days at work. The burritos are tasty (chicken is my favorite) & the Bulldog is a must try. The margaritas are also very good with a nice kick. it does get busy in... More

Blockheads was recommended by a friend mostly with the crazy Bulldog cocktails in mind. We went there for food on April 30th 2015. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. I really liked the atmosphere and general friendly vibe. We started off some Bulldogs; a margarita with an extra shot of vodka and - wait for it - a bottle... More

We had tacos and burritos. Tacos were large portions and burrito normal size portion. Nice enough but not fabulous. Services is quick however getting seated could have been better. The male attending to us decided mid way through dealing with us to deal with the people behind us when we were 1st. After talking to them while we waited he... More

This place never gets old to me, I love to come here when i want some good Mexican food an inexpensive drinks while hanging out with friends or family. Just a heads up sometimes the wait can be long depending on the time you go an how the weather is outside.

Personally I don't like Mexican food. But I like some people who do so that's how I ended up eating there twice before. Let's just say that the third time all I ate was a few tequilas, I have learned my lesson. The service was cordial at first, but deteriorated soon after that. It's not really a bar so the... More

I only get the chicken burrito and have always enjoyed the meal. Unfortunately, it's in NYC, so the price is pretty high for the lunch special, but it does come with chips and a drink. I did try the Chicken Quesadilla and enjoyed that as well.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
