Nice atmosphere, not too stuffy. Homemade pastas were great and appetizers were generous and very tasty. The mussels and clam appetizer in a tomato, non-spicy sauce was first rate and my homemade pasta with lamb ragu was very nice. My business associate had the lobster ragu with pasta and also raved about it. Wine selection by the glass was somewhat... More

Had dinner here, it was a bit pricey but the food was okay. The service was not too bad. Though it was going to be a one-time visit...and that is simply because there are so many other eateries to try! Besides, we left with a feeling of - 'twas okay, but not great. Would I revisit / recommend this eatery?... More

The best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere. Nice, open air place with sidewalk seating. Enjoyed that. Beautiful decor. The food was very average, though. Ordered a pizza with watery sauce and bland toppings. Service was incredibly slow. The waitress was lovely and she apologized profusely about the slow service. It was clear that they had far too few... More

Went to this wonderful place for the first time tonight and loved it! The atmosphere is great, beautiful bar, generous portions and very reasonably priced for Manhattan. I found a new place in midtown!

Reasonable prices for New York City. Our party of three enjoyed their entrees except for the lasagna which was very dry.

A group of us had an after-work light meal that turned out to be better than expected: excellent antipasti and salads (the insalata mista con parmigiano was especially good), tasty pasta dishes (ravioli di ricotta al pomodoro was our favorite), and decent coffee and desserts. Considering that this stretch of 42nd Street doesn't have the most exciting fine dining choices,... More

My daughter and I arrived in NYC tonight, tired and hungry, having travelled all day. After checking into our hotel, we asked the concierge for recommendation for a casual dining place that serves great food. She recommended this restaurant, which is an easy walk from our hotel (The Library Hotel near Grand Central Station). It is located on 42nd St... More

This looked like a little hole in the wall from the outside. The pasta is homemade and the lamb ragout sauce was out of this world. Melted in your mouth and reminded me of my grandmother's. The decor was a little dark but fine for dinner. The dessert tray was filled with profiteroles, creme brûlée, mousse, selection of gelato. Out... More

I recently had lunch there with a friend. Upon arriving, we asked to be seated at the vacant table at the entry, and were told that it was reserved. Upon asking whether it was possible to reserve a specific table, the answer was that it was reserved for the owner. We were led inside and, amidst the many other vacant... More

We visited on May 23, 2014 at a 10:30 PM seating without a reservation. Had a nice meal. Food and wine list (with excellent italian wines) were above average but not exceptional. At the end of the meal, my wife paid the cheque and excused herself for the washroom. The waiter collected the cheque, returning moments later to ask if... More
