The Restaurant's look and feel is very Indian/indian village kinds with the idols of Indian god. The ambience is good and the food menu is generally fixed. We ordered some drinks aside from the menu. The food was not that great and plus it was way expensive. You could find much better vegetarian food somehwere else at a better price.... More

This is one of the best Indian restaurant in north east America. Like the concept of pure vegetarian. The restaurant food and service is awesome as well as the ambiance. Whenever you go to New York city, make sure you visit this restaurant to eat. Also you must be real hungry to justify the fool dish otherwise you can not... More

Visited here for a family reunion (17 of us). We were lucky to find street parking right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and setup. The person at the reception was very welcoming and provided temporary seating till all parties arrived. We were seated on the second floor. The place looks awesome. Everything looks and... More

IF you like Vegan food then this is a place for you. They have an all you can eat plan that gives you so much carbs that you feel stuffed to the gills. Some of the pickles and chilis are HOT Hot Hot so be careful. THey do have beer but if you are a meat eater this is not... More

amazing decor and ambience. The food was excellent. They serve a fixed preset menu which is served course by course. Too much food for 1 person to eat. The khichdi kadi was mouthwatering.

I still rate this 4 star, however they should stop pretending they offer unlimited food. Not that you want to eat more than the three courses they offer, however they make sure that you don't even get a chance to order second serving of that one item u liked the most! Consequently, service is not that great. Our pretty waitress... More

Vatan offers a vegetarian Gujarati Thali which is completely different from your run of the mill Indian fare (usually north Indian cuisine). Although they don't offer any meat, I guarantee you, you won't miss it. The ambiance is nice as well. Family and kid friendly. Good for groups. (they can even accommodate large (~30) groups as well).

Good food but not worth $30.00. We asked for mild and they said they could make it , but it was still spicy. I presume they had the same curry for everything. All inclusive did not include Lassi/Chaas, which is staple for this kind of Indian food. They charged $5.00 per glass. If you have a huge appetite, it is... More

The food was amazing! Service impeccable and ambiance so peaceful. My only regret is I scarfed down a Magnolia Cupcake before dinner so I couldn't eat everything. We will be back!
